  1. I would say continue to fill in the top and skip the crown until you have completed the front area. If you get a larger amount of grafts then go for the crown also.
  2. Looking great Social. You are forming a nice head of hair and things seem to be filling in well. Cas
  3. I think fake eyelashes are the way to go
  4. Ramvfin2003, You may be still suffering from the shockloss of getting the HT. THis happens to a lot of men. THere will be a time when things *actually* look worse. But for most men the hair lost due to shock will return and coupled with your new hair you will be pleased. Please keep us posted. Cas
  5. Social, did you put some sort of concealer on your donor scar area? It looks a bit fuzzy
  6. Yea, i think 20 is too young to be taking Ensight!!
  7. this is good to know. propecia is expensive as sh*t
  8. Greggo, I apologize if my post rubbed you the wrong way. I sympathize with you and hopefully the side effects won't last forever. If they persist I think you should stop and try other forms of treatment. There is a lot of information on the site just do a search.. Cas
  9. ive been on propecia for 8 months and I havent experienced any real side effects.
  10. hbt, i think if you take an omega 6 capsule instead of eating fish to get the nutrient its the same. this way you can avoid the fish Cas
  11. I just started using it this weekend , and the bottle of shampoo says its for daily cleaning... I have heard some guys use it 2 to 3 times a week, but the stuff helps get off the monoxidil residual and the key to healthy hair includes a healthy scalp and therefore I will continue to use it daily. Cas
  12. JC, just to build off of what HBT is saying, after the grafts have been placed in your scalp, the hairs within the graft will fall out, and then be replaced with the permanent hair that will reside within the follicle. The original hair within the graft will grow a little once its been placed, but will soon fall out. Once they all fall out, thats when you can start getting excited because the nextphase, which occurs from 1-2 months after that is the growth of your new hair hope that makes sense Cas
  13. to treat hairloss I am doing the following: 1. MSM 3000mg 2. Rogaine 2x daily 3. Propecia 1mg daily 4. Nioxin shampoo and rinse, daily 5. Mega Man (just overall) I feel like a freaking druggie I guess I'll add some Omega 6 to the mix.....
  14. I had swelling after my HT too. Very bad swelling. The doc gave me a prescription that ended the swelling in a matter of days. but i looked like mike tyson did after buster douglas beat him up for a while. Cas
  15. Great photos foreigner. Thanks for posting.
  16. Thanks for the post. That's two good marks for this doc. I will try to find his site. Cas
  17. I, as most guys found out about Bosley through TV> I went there first for a consultation, and incredibly, the doctor turned me away. He said I was to young at the time (24). TOld me to come back when I was 30. Well I never ended up going back there and thats a good thing; perhaps I'd be disfigured and would spend my mornings deciding which hat to wear. I have an impressive collection. Cas
  18. i'll second that, I'm about 1 year out and still seeing some changes. My changes are more in that the implanted HAIRS finally losing some of their diameter, which is helping the hair blend in.
  19. Eastend, I'm happy doctor Straub went forward with the surgery because I will NEVER be able to afford 2000 Grafts. That's why I have entered the contest. I only got the front hairline "base" worked on so with the next surgery I should be able to go into the other areas of my scalp, without running the risks forestated with planting hair in areas already populated with grafted hair. BTW the donor scar is only 3 inches long. Cas
  20. I would like to try staples next, as the first HT i used sutures, and experienced stretching on the 2 ends of the scar. I think staples may alleviate this. Cas
  21. Check with your doctor first though to make sur that the chemicals won't be detrimental to your new grafts. i'm lucky i'm naturally tanned
