  1. That would NEVER work becuase hair grows from the ROOT and the ROOT ONLY. You can't transplant cut hair into balding areas on your scalp, It will not stay in place becauase it needs a ROOT to hold on to!
  2. For those of you that have already gone through the process, which one is a more comfortable procedure? I'm making a decision from 2 very reputable HT doctors. One Dr. uses staples & the other uses the stitch method to close the donor area. I'm NOT sure which route to choose for myself. My main concern is my surgery will be done out of state & for that reason, if I choose the staples, who will pull them out of my scalp when I get home after the surgery? Also, I want to choose the method that provides the LEAST detectable scar. I have enough hair to cover the scar BUT in the interim, I don't want a scar that I can see for myself!
