i agree with kg here. typical guy without hairloss has 75-80 cm2. 35 would be less than 50% so just imagine the outcome.

sac you should start a photo album. i would say you are a norwood 4 or so as your hairloss seems quite extensive. 1200 is not a lot of grafts. you should be very realistic in your end result, but it will give you a bit of hair that you long for. good luck, keep us posted. cas

agreed. it can last up to 1 year and in some cases longer. im 5 months post op and now the numbness is just on the very top of my head. before it was from the donor area all over my head. goes away little by little

looks like you still have some redness but that should disappear soon.

i agree with pb. have you experimented with any other hairstyle? you may want to cut it in the front. and where it to the side, or try to experiment. do you still use toppik or any other concealers normally? i took a look to find your pre-pictures, and i found them here. cas

gorpy, im really happy for you. but just a tech geeks comment.. can you keep all of your updates in your photos thread? That way we can just scroll and see progress. is easier to review your awesome growth and personal account of the affair! cas

what i do is use courve, then a gel, and when the gel is drying sprinkle in some toppik. works for me too =)

keep your head pores clean and wash every day this helps your growth going strong and healthy. not sure why you are waiting so long between washing :-(

hey king, perhaps you are just shedding more of your natural hair. proscar doesnt stop your hairloss altogether, just slows it down. btw you only posted 1 pic. also, do you have a before pic. would be 'smashing' to see where you started.

hawk, i wouldnt be worried just yet. i'm not sure what the deal is with that doctor and such a low count the first go around.. maybe he was trying to get out early that day? we on the forum stress not going in for less than 1000 because the less procedures you do the better. why put yourself through all of the rehab ?? and you never know how much hair you are still going to lose, so potentially you may need to get another procedure after that to finish up the project. you just dont want to keep going through that. you can probably go back and get the rest of what you were planning to do in a month or so. also, you'll lose a little hair after the procedure (called shock loss) but in most cases it grows back. takes a while, but it usually does. gl, cas

hey man, thats too bad about your procedure. Best of luck in your repair. Same thing happened to me with my 1st doc. a lot of success stories, but no doctor is 100% perfect and I was in the minority in the resulting damage the doc inflicted. i went to deyarman and I am hoping I fall in the majority. so far so good.

I have posted my 4.5 month pics. Overall it was a slow month but hair did grow and I feel a little better than I did the month prior. i'm hoping the future brings more growth and thickening as well as some sort of hairstyle at some point.
