Thanks mike In a sydney paper they ran a story about topik, and they turned a pretty much bald guy into a guy with a half decent head of hair, i have no idea how. If you do sweat using toppik? will black shit run down your face? that could be a bit embarrassing.

In my case, my hairline is a bit stuffed, i think the rest of my hair is alright. I will go on medication to hopefully slow down the hairloss process. I fear getting a small HT, then getting some permanent shock loss from the HT, and then chasing my hairline all the way to the back of my head until im either completely bald or broke. Alot of people seem to get a second HT within 1 year after the first, is that from shock loss? or its usually planned that way in advance? Bill, did you plan to get 3 hts from the beginning or after the first u were disappointed with the results?

Bill? 1300 grafts isnt alot right? would you expect alot of shock loss with such a small HT (I am considering getting a similar amount) Rikky? you got some work done on your hairline? and where else on your head exactly? Are you experiencing shock loss near the recipient area? the donor area? or just randomly everywhere?

are you sure that proscar and propeica are exactly the same. (besides the dosage) As i understand it, proscar is used to target the prostate? are there any long term studies regarding propecia/proscar and their long term effect on the prostate?

does topic make little hairs or dust ??? products that color your scalp etc? can they be used on your hairline at all? like a little bit behind the hairline if its thinning? or they would be too noticable?

Often on HT websites people talk about getting multiple HT's. often atleast 2. If you have a similar level to birdie, might you be able to get away with just one HT? atleast for a couple of years?

Is it ok to take propecia every second day like some people on here advocate? According to your knowledge you think its perfectly fine to use rogaine and propecia together from the start? Am i correct in assuming that rogaine is a less effective product? less benefits and less side effects? Rogaine is rubbed onto the hair? not a medication? Bill, in your opinion would 1000 hairs on a hairline like birdies still produce ok results? I am happy to keep the cow licks just to reduce them a bit? 1000 grafts might give me an inch or so wouldnt it? I understand rogaine comes in 2 and 5%? should you start on the 2%? or you can just go str8 onto the 5% solution?

But when a transplanted hair falls out or gets pulled out, is that the end of it? Or the follicle remains and a new hair will grow in its place?

Would it be better to take one before the other for a couple of months, to let your hair adjust, rather than bombard it with 2 products? or can you start them both at the same time?

How dramatic would 2000 hairs improve the hairline? If i only got 1000 grafts, with a similar hairline to birdies, do you think that would be ok? Ive never had a ht before, im thinking of starting off a bit slower. im not that ambitious as i say, i dont need a str8 hairline, i am happy to have it partly receeding. I just want to reduce it a little. Do you think 1000 grafts could achieve that?

1 last question. If my hair is similar to this guys, im 28. Would you recommend Propecia or Rogaine? If i was just going to take one of them? I want to get maybe a transplant in a few months time. Is it true that propecia gets better results?

Bill, I guess my hairline would be maybe similar to this guys. Although its hard to tell. You say around 2000 grafts would be enough? But is there any chance u could draw on that guys pic how far you think 2000 grafts would bring his hairline forward. Can you also draw on his pic how far 1000 grafts would bring his hairline forward (ie around 500 each side)? Just to give me/people an idea? I am thinking of only getting 1000 grafts, do you think that would look ok? I dont want a str8 hairline.

I know they do HT's all over the head. But is there less success with HTS in the frontal areas? To actually construct a hair line for someone - that would seem very difficult. All the angles and everything? and scaring etc? Is there usually scaring in the recipient area long term? Or its not very noticeable usually? Do you usually pay more for a hair line HT? rather than filling in a crown? Do most doctors give you an idea of what might look good when it comes to the shape of your hairline? Ive read about this product but i dont understand it. AM i correct that this product involves sticking little hairs onto your head? How does that work? do you jsut clue them onto your scalp horizontally? Has anyone used this product? Can this product be used on a hair line or just crown?

Is a folicle a hair root? Or they are different? You know if you wax or pluck hairs on your body - new hairs will grow back, what happens if you pluck a transplanted hair? does that mean its gone for good? or the folicle will still remain and can make another hair? are transplanted hairs easier to pull out etc? are they more fragile?? do you have to be extra careful with them?

DHT whatever its called doesnt that make your hair fall out? and isnt that testosterone? Are you sure lifting weights and eating alot of protein doesnt effect testosterone production? I know nothing by the way, i just do weights so im curious.

All that redness how long did that take to clear up? how much did that cost? can you please also explain what happened between picture 16 and 17? what time difference is there between those 2 pictures?

in your expert opinion Bill? what is the average number of hairs that will grow from a tranplant? People on here ive seen some report around 60%. in australia there is a web site for a transplant surgeon who guarantees atleast 50% grwoth. It sounds like the standards in this industry are pretty low. are australian surgeons shit at transplants? or is 50% reasonable by world standards?
