  1. i am very new to this site and unfamiliar with much of the jargon used. I will try my best to explain myself, please be patient. I am 29. I have i think a 2 or 3 on the norwood scale. The middle of my hairline comes to the front of my head, but its only a couple of inches maybe 3 inches thick. The sides are then indented similar to the 2 and 3 norwood scale. But the peak in the middle comes out a fair way (i dont think the very middle has to be touched at all). I just want to fill in the sides of that middle peak a bit. not a whole lot, i dont even need a straight hair line, i am happy to keep the m shape to a degree, but i want to minimise it a bit. your opinions please? I want to try and get a minimal amount of hairs transplanted. less than 1000. I am concerned about shock loss. can it be like chemotherapy where all yoru hair falls out? or anything crazy like that? If i get less than 1000 grafts transplanted? would you anticpate much shock loss? I dont care about the scaring in the donor region, i cant see the back of my head - so i dont care...about it. as long as it wasnt to rediculous. most people seem to get the hair from the middle of the back of their head? can u get it lower down, where the back of your head meets your neck? i dont mind having a scar there. Unless you guys think i should mind?

  3. Are there only like 4 of 5 transplant clinics in australia? the Wood dude, jen martinec, barry white, knudsell? Are there any other options? Can you alll please tell me how your treatments went and which dr's you used? Can you please tell me how many grafts you got and how much this cost? can u please gi8ve me some estimates of the other costs involved. Most of the sites ive seen on the net are secretive about their pricing policies - so i was hoping you guys could tell me exactly how much you paid - or were quoted? what hidden costs can i expect? Im very very very concerned about the idea of shock loss, how significant can shock loss be? In my situation, i think i am only a 2 or 3 0r a 2.5 if there is such a thing, on that scale thing, its just the front on the sides that are receeding. im 29. The sides have always been receeding for the last 10 years or more, pretty slowly i guess. but I want to do something before its too late. I have seen no doctors. i have taken no medication to prevent hair loss either. I am not a greedy guy, if i could just have maybe a solid 2 on that scale. id be happy i think, i dont mind having slightly receeded sides. at the moment its just a bit to much for my comfort zone. how many grafts do u think i would need? any ideas? Is shock loss usually worse if you get your frontal hairline done? or if you get hair planted in your crown? thank you
