if you get your hair line done? how do you guys go out etc go to work etc...with red all over your head? isnt obvious u have had transplants? how significant was the shock losss? how many hairs did u have tranplanted?

i am thinking of going on propecia do you think 3 months on it before i have ht would help limit shock loss? i have heard taking propecia can cause some shedding - how long does it usualy cause the hair to shed for? and how significant can the shedding be? can thick hairs also fall out? or it will just be the minitured hairs?

Bill i only wish to get hair transplanted on my hairline- would you assume i wouldnt experience very much shock losss since the transplant wont be between existing hairs? would i have to shave my whole head etc for a transplant?? what work do you do for a living Bill?

Are there side effects from rogaine? If you take propecia, every second day, do you think that could possibly still curb hair loss? and also allow you to avoid some of the side effects of the drug? have you seen any cases of people taking propecia and loosing massive amounts of hair? shedding - whatever you call it?

does this drug make your balls shrink? make your dick soft? and does it ruin your muscles? and hinder muscle growth? do you get hair on the rest of your body from this drug at all?

Bill, does shock loss only occur right next to the transplanted hairs? can i leave a small bufffer zone between my existing hairs and the hair transplant which will minimise shock loss? i have a norwood 2 or 3 - so i will only be getting a HT in the temple regions.

what sort of side effects? how long and how severe were they? how bad does the hair fall out? how do you know if the shedding is a result of the propecia? rather than just shock loss from the operation? i heard that when you have a hair transplant the transplanted hairs start to grow, then they alll fall out ---- and then after a few months they then grow again? can anyone confirm this? Bill your saying that its normal for your hair to fall out in the initiat months, which means that the medication is maybe working? if your hair doesnt fall out more when you start taking propecia? would that be a sign the medication isnt working? or its just a very random process based on the individual?

i dont know if im a 2 or a 3. i will send some pics in so you experts can judge me what do you people call the front of the hair line - where the temples have receeded? do you call that cow licks? and the middle part, is that called a peak? in any event my hair line has gone past my comfort zone. I have i think a norwood 2 or 3, i want to fill in the gaps on the sides a little and dream of growing my hair long from the front and having a pony tail. will a pony tail make your hair fall out? will having long hair make your hair fall out? Last but not least, i suffered an injury just over a year ago, for which i sustained very slight nerve damage and am required to take zoloft or a zoloft type supplement/anti depressent medication, to regulate my nervous system. I take a very very very small amount of this drug, less than the smallest dosage available. I may stop taking it very soon. does anyone know if zoloft can cause hair losss? does anyone know if you can have a hair transplant while on such a drug? So your saying that i can get a consultation over the internet? then go in the day before my surgery, just to finalise things? Dont they need to do some testing or something? would it really take a few months? to get an oppointment for the operation? thank you guys. Rogaine and propecia? if you want to reduce shock loss from occurring, how long would be a reasonable amount of time to take the drugs before having a transplant? I only require a transplant towards the front of my hairline, would the drugs still be of benefit - because ive heard they are only useful for the crown and back of the head? Can you take the drugs, every couple of days etc? and still derive some benefit? I am concerned about the side effects. also You say your hair probably wont fall out in clumps if you stop taking the drugs? If say in 5 years time i would have a certain level of baldness with no medication at all, and under scenario 2 If i took the drugs for say 4 years and then ceased taking the drugs? Would you anticipate by the 5th year under both conditions my baldness would be the same? due to the fact i stopped taking the drugs? do you guys know what i mean? does your baldness catch up to where it was meant to be at an extra fast pace, if you stop taking the drugs?

Alot of you guys talk about going seeing doctors heaps of times etc? I live in sydney australia, there are only 2 or 3 or 4 doctors here. When i make a decision to do it. I want to get the transplant ASAP. I want to go there the first day, get the dr to draw on my head, where he plans to put the transplanted hairs. Then i plan to book it on the spot, and have the proceedure done a week later or so? AM i crazy? is it more complicated than i think? why do you have to go there so many times? and post operation - do you have to keep going back alot? besides getting the stiches out? why else do u need to go there?

i have taken no medication and had no proceedures. i think i am a norwood 2 or 3, with a pretty long middle peek bit, but receeded hair to the sides of the peak. I am 29.
