  1. not sure trojan, have heard from time to time some people don't have much fallout, have heard that others had theirs stay in for 2 months before they fell....are they growing or staying stubble??
  2. I second those comments. Waiting does suck but at three months you should start seeing some fine hairs coming thru. But it still takes a few more months after that for all the hair to start growing as well as thicken up and become a significant cosmetic improvement. I am just past 3 months and I can see a lot of fine hairs growing but they are blond, wispy ones and not much of a cosmetic improvement yet....so just hang in there and throw away the mirror till month 6! lol
  3. fellow June HT patients, how is everyone progressing? I am finally at the pre op looking stage with some other growth happening. When my hair is wet now I can see a bunch of the fine hairs coming in and I can definately feel a lot more hair. Cosmetically it isn't there yet, but it is only 3 months post op. Would take some pics but my camera is down right now, How is everyone else doing at the 3 month mark?
  4. Congrats irish! big difference from 12 weeks, it's really getting thicker and starting to fill out more, plenty still to look forward to but at only 4 months it looks great!!
  5. I will be at 3 months on the 23rd and am starting to see more and more thin hairs across my midscalp area. Starting to just look like I have thin wispy hair, trying not to get too excited though, still early. I also can feel quite a few stubble hairs across it as well which is also leading to a few more of those little pimples that are sore to the touch. They hurt a little but you just have to take it as progress and that there is activity going on, so onward with the pimples!!!
  6. You don't see it from other docs because their results are shit. Your other "coalition" docs are totally unimpressive with the exception of one or two doctors. I take offense to this as my doc is one of the coalition doctors and I had great results with him. Please don't use your anger as an excuse for ridiculous comments as this will not help your case.
  7. ahhh yes! there are many of us at or around the ugly duckling 2 month stage!! I am there as well, but hopefully in the next month or so it will start slowly improving, I remember this feeling and the anxiety I was going thru last time and I am experiencing it all over again! Haven't had more than one or two pimples so far so that's good! I say onward to october!!!
  8. Wouldn't mind seeing the after photos, glad you found a great HT doc
  9. I've gotten the 2% off the internet before without a prescription and might do that again, anyone know of a good site that sells it the cheapest? thanks
  10. thanks dhuge, will check it out. I bought my last Nizoral 1% there but didn't see the 2%. Do you have to ask for it from the phamrmacy?
  11. I waited a week to wear a hat and when i did it was a very loose fitting one. My doc told me that your new hairs are pretty well in good after 4 days. Plus was still pretty fresh and didn't want the new grafts to stick to the hat and get ripped out
  12. besides online where can you buy nizoral 2% over the counter?? anyone know of good sites that sell it the cheapest??thanks in advance
  13. I think your results have been great! There is definately a time for the big megasessions but your case was not one. I think the best time for a mega is when there is a clean slate and not much risk of shock loss. When I see pics of people with diffused thining I cringe at a dense packing as it will shock a lot of existing hair.
  14. I know on my post with pics there was a little icon on the bottom right that says edit album, but that was for my picture album, was able to change post title there
  15. Looks awesome man! Those are some fantastic results! Congrats!
  16. OK, at the good old 2 month post op period. Didn;t include any new pics because there is no significant changes as of yet. At close inspection I can see quite a few short stubs of hair here and there and can feel quite a bit with my hand. Had quite a bit of shockloss and am just now starting to approach how I looked preop. I can see quite a few other hairs that are lighter in color as well. Have shockloss under my scar on the left side of my head, but I thikn all the shock loss has halted and now I look forward to the next few months where hopefully the growth starts to kick in!
  17. same thing happened to me with my last HT and grew back, took awhile. didn't start growing back for about 6 months and then slowly filled in. Have the same thing again after my last HT, am 2 months out so no worries it does happen. It takes awhile to grow back but it will.........slowly. hang in there
  18. Dhuge, I think you look good with the buzz cut and it doesn't show the scar. In the second picture it looks a little thin in the temples but better than before. I don't see any reason to go ahead with another procedure for a good year or two from now. Stick to the meds and a good hair care regimen and see in a year or so. But I think it looks good
  19. Nizoral 1% or the prexription strength 2%??
  20. not sure what you mean? use the 1% or 2%? not sure that 2% is cheaper.
  21. does it matter if you use 1% or the prescription strength 2%? I used the prescription strength than when I ran out have been using the 1%. Where can you buy the 2% at a Walgreens type place?
  22. you have gotten some great results and have found a doctor that is making your dream a reality, congrats!
