  1. Wantiback I am at the 1 year mark and my growth was substantial in months 6 on. I experienced some growth in months 4-6 but really started to sprout later. Once it starts it goes wild, I had 2140 grafts so right on with you!!! I am sorry was a NW5A now it is great to say that I have my hair back. Good luck, patience and meds all help with the process. TMAN
  2. HBT Very interesting, we are almost identical in loss and graft amount. Looking forward to seeing your posts, my growth has been excellent, has been one year for me!! Happy Growing, do not forget to provide a regular weed and feed to the new crop!!! TMAN
  3. The general opinion of MHR or any other large hair mill chain is they are to be avoided. Do a search on this and other sites and you will see the overwhelming posts against. What part of the country are you in?
  4. Robert There are many people in the world who receive the benefits of the blood given to the Red Cross. I know in my own personal case that I have the same issue so I volunteer my services to make up as I was a regular donor for many years. It is the effort that counts. Thanks for the insightful post!!! TMAN
  5. Bonzo Sound's like an excellent consultation with a good outlook. Can the Dr. remove the grafts and further disect them into smaller FU's to reuse. I know that has been done with other patients and the resulting relocation with the new grafts has been wonderful!! Good Luck TMAN
  6. It appears Peter Mac, a very reputable and competent consultant for DHI is now on his own. His new signature is as follows: "Disclaimer--I am an independent hair transplant surgical assistant, consultant, and hair loss researcher. I have worked for hairlosshelp.com and for the DHI Clinic. Any opinions that I have posted are my own." Good Luck to him!! TMAN

  8. It seems that shock loss both in the donor and recipient areas is a topic with a lot of unknowns and very difficult or impossible to predict. My personal experience was very limited loss anywhere. There are a lot of posts on this site and others about shock loss, I have not read any that were permanent so hopefully time and the propecia will bring back. Good luck!
  9. Hey Gunner It seems that the general consensus is there are not a lot of great docs in England. You may want to check out Dr. Feller on Long Island, specs on the other site is his consultant in England. Good Luck
  10. Balloonman Great results, nice you can intermix the strip with FUE. How much of a donor supply do you have remaining? How many total grafts have you had, can you break it down by FUE and strip? Thanks TMAN PS What happened at the other site with Farrell.
  11. It is also notworthy to remember that your body may build up a tolerance were the medication does not work any longer. This has been the experience of some long term users, see posts on this site and others. My feeling is to keep the dose as shown on many of the studies to get the longest possible effectiveness, I also use every other day.
  12. I recently ordered the NUHART video to compare and I like to watch the other clinics presentations. What a joke, the quality is poor, the results are poor, the whole thing looked like it had a production budget of $50!! One of the sales guys had a comb over that beat the band, oh yea he was a client also!! The president had sort of a Donald Trump meets the Sopranos hair do with a forehead so high he could use several thousand grafts. They did have a couple of celebrities, Grizzly Adams, who I like but was not that impressive and the drummer for the Doobie Brothers who, in traditional Rock Star fashion never took off his sun glasses, even during the procedure!!! Good luck!!!!
  13. Hey Chris2b If you cannot located the docs you are considering on the web in these forums, or at least follow the very stringent steps for determining a doc found on these sites do not consider them. TMAN
  14. Whoops I am shell shocked by this. In order to sell/dispense medicine you need to be a licensed pharmacist, is that you? In order to authorize the pharmacist to dispense medicine you need to be a doctor to write the prescription, is that you? Why don't you call the authorities and tell them you are selling prescription medicine without a license to prescribe or dispense? I am sure they would want to talk with you. How about better yet, as you are the representative of a HT doc, give the pills to him and let him keep them in his stock for patients I am sure he would love to do that!!! If you have a reputable place to buy medication that is one thing, trying to sell over this forum is outrageous!!!
  15. Thanks Gillenator I am 6'1' so I see your point. I appreciate the feedback, I was not sure about more grafts, I have a good donor area so it will be possible, strongly considering it!! I am very happy with the results, did not expect to get the coverage I did considering my loss! You seem very well versed in the HT world are there pictures of your procedure on the site, also what are the details. TMAN
  16. Pics look good, compare to mine on this site I had a lot less hair, I think yours should come in strong!!! Is it a strip procedure or FUE. How is the weather, winter cold up here in New England. TMAN
  17. Do not know much about him, several posts about the history of the clinics he has been associated with. Search here, Google and other websites. The surgical center is in NYC so if you are in New England there are other, closer options for you. Good luck!!!
  18. Good Morning Good luck with your results. In looking at your pictures it appears the donor area was taken very high up on your head? Was there a reason the doc decided to do this.
  19. If the donor hair is preprogrammed to fall out then this may be the cause, what meds are you on, who is the doc, did you discuss with them?
  20. Hair Apparent Thanks for the comments, Good luck with the HT!!!! I am planning another one at some point to add density!! Keep me posted, who was your HT doc.
  21. Here are the first posts I have done, 10 mos post op with Dr. Distefano, NW5 2140 grafts. Let me know what you think!!!

  23. Headsup I like the graft calculator on the site, it really was accurate for me. Check it out.
  24. That is great that you are happy. The other factor to consider is your age, if you are in your 20's and the hairloss will continue you may want to wait a while, let it run the course as you do not want to run out of donor hair. Good Luck, pictures would be great.
  25. Hello All, I am relating the experiences of this forum and other websites that track the history of clinics over several years, that is all. I strongly suggest that LT does a search here, on google and other HT websites to get all the information. I was also attempting to point out that my doc, Distefano is also recomended by this site, Robert clarified this in an email to me and indicated he would also do that here. The other 2 strong criteria that made my decision with Dr. Distefano after I determined that he is an excellent doctor, location and cost. I was very comfortable with being close to home and his pricing is excellent. Good Luck with the HT search!!!
