  1. Hi to all, Telephone man here, has been a while since my last confession so here goes! Has anyone ever heard of Buyer Beware!!!! A fool and their money are soon parted!!! The pricing of a HT is whatever the doc thinks they can get for it. Everyone on this forum has read the stories of the dirtbags that do 500 grafts for several G, why, because they believe it is the proper way, hell NO because THEY CAN!!! I remember a post about a meeting that had all the idiots at Bos, MHR, Puige etc. etc., a doc stood up and said " My problem is I cannot get patients to come back for more that 7 or 8 procedures what do I do." Well there are a number of people on this forum who can tell this A**hole what to do. I would love to see this group get an informercial together to spread the word as all the other HT docs mentioned above do. These guys know and have known for years that the way to capitalize on the situation is to kick people in the balls with the personal baldness issue and stick their hands in the pockets while they are handing us the tissues!!! Why don't all the best HT docs get together kick in 5-10G each and produce an informercial, now that would be fun to watch. What the hell do I know though, just my opinion.
  2. Akonsta Dude lighten up, anyone who has an affiliation with a company should identify themselves. I ask the question about price for the benefit of the forum readers, we all want to know about the pricing of this emerging ht technology. Also I still say 300 grafts is very small does not show much improvement so why would DHI want to use this forum as agressive PR which they do.
  3. Zuleron Does not sound like a nice condition you have there. I would take your issue directly to the docs, it is very deep to try and address in the forum, although the outcome would be nice to know. Call them directly for consults, if you understand that a scalp reduction will help I would go directly to the source of this information for more details, if it is a sales pitch run, if it from a doc with documented medical proof?? Good Luck
  4. If they are posting as a company they should list themselves as a company like Dr. Feller does or identify as Jotronic does. They did not say how much the procedure cost either, but if I was looking for free PR I would not post a piece of Sh** picture like that!!!
  5. Dude Looks the same to me? What did you pay for the FUE.
  6. I do not know Rugger, I think when you fell asleep they actually implanted some of your hair into Jotronics head, and told you it was 4600, it was actually 5600 but not all in your head!!! Thinking about a second one, what level were you Rugger (Norwood), any before pics, I got 2100 in February and thinking about another 2500-3000.
  7. Congrats on getting rid of the HCM thing. I think you should alter your appearance to get ready for the HT. I used to have longer hair also, simply have the barber cut very short, will look good and blend in the area were you has the piece. Good luck.
  8. Hey Mel, A new interesting post pertaining to Elliot and True, see posts by BruinHair reiterating what I was saying. Good Luck
  9. Try Again Mel, there are several things to consider when getting a HT. The most important thing is the doc and the reputation. I have heard decent things about that doc. I your case and mine it may be very important to lifestyle, time off etc to be able to get a megasession of 3-4000 FU's. If this is the case there are several docs on this post that can accomodate this, I would suggest looking at them.
  10. How long did your surgery take, how many technicians did he have working on you. Thanks
  11. Altair Thanks for posting here with us in this forum takes a lot of courage to post here but there is a lot of support from people who share a common issue. The end result for most is quality work from great docs, I wish the same for you. Hey Ted Groves, you know there have been a number of times I have read your responses thinking to myself this guy has to be a real idiot in life. I can picture you, loser sitting around, last time you got laid was with a months salary a year ago. Get a life!!
  12. Hey Pete You are Central, a 2.5 hour flight and you can see the best on the west or east coasts in case you cannot find one in Chicago, travel is good for the soul!!!!
  13. If you do a google search you can find it online. Also many salons carry it, and I have found it in CVS drugstores, although the Nexxus website (Nexxus.com) states it is only available at salons. Is Nioxin available online?
  14. My hair has been thinning for a long time, since I was in my early 20s and now am 40. I had a HT in February results so far so good I have found Nexxus Vitastress shampoo to work great on making my hair look full, have used it for years.

  16. You know on Sundays I have nothing better to do than read the Boston Globe, watch TV and watch my kids bounce off the walls. In one of my last posts I referred to the new Bosley infomercial, this time I watched the entire thing. I must say it appears his marketing people must be reading this site, the new one incorporated a lot of the ideas of this forum and others (large sessions, fast recovery time, no pain etc. etc.) I really like this video, well done and as I said before if I had not visited this and other sites I would have signed up already. The one thing that really stood out is they actually showed the technicians cutting grafts using magnified glasses and blades!! You think with their ad budget they would pay attention to detail and get into the microscope thing, of course if they do not really use them then they cannot show them, false advertising and all!!!! Just my thoughts.

  18. Vanguy I do not know what you consider cheap, maybe you can shed some light on what you are trying to achieve and your budget, this is a very competetive market and someone may be able to step up and help you. Also as several posts have shown Dr. Lehr is advertising $3 per graft, also Dr. Distefano's claim is large transplants cost effectively.
  19. This is still happening to me after 2.5 months, I have a spray from my Doc which has Alovera in it as well has other things which I apply after I apply the Rogaine.
  20. Thanks for the Feedback Noreaster why discontinue Rogaine? Rugger Have you used the Vitamin E?
  21. I am 7 weeks postop and have a peeling scalp in the recipient area, what causes this and what can I do to stop. Thanks
