Thanks alot Pat and others, Shock loss is one of my major concerns for sure. HarryBen asked the right question. I have xisting hair (not alot ) ) But, the point is I would like to increase the density.So in this scenario, I am very much concerned about shock loss, since I can afford to lose my existing hair. My other concern is the scar at the donor site. right now I could feel the sacr even if i run my hand over my head at the donor site. if i cut my hair short I could see the scar. When i see posts that says "my scar is almost invisible " , I am even thinking if it can be true. But what I know & realised is ..my first Ht is a Train wreck. I hope, I can make the scar less visible after my 2nd HT.

Are there any one in Michigan who had had HT with Dr.Fellar ? Or Shapiro ? Or any suggestions for good surgeons in Michigan ?

Hi All, I had a first HT in MI, at a place called Hair Loss Treatment Center (Cozmedic - Michael Heilman)- I only wish I had known this commuity earlier. It was a waste, disaster I should say. well I lost more hair because of shock loss I guess. I have hair loss mostly on top of my head. I have hair but its NOT AT ALL dense. I mean if I walk in sun you can see my scalp, actually under any bright illumination. Question: Can I go for 2nd HT ? To make my existing condition better ? I am afraid I may again go throug the shock loss if i have HT and the surgeon places hair grafts closer to my existing hair. What Should I do ? I am confused ( and depressed.

Thanks Smoothy, I hope I have enough donor hair (seems like I have enough to me.)so that I can have a SUCCESSFUL HT. Please let me know more details about scalp excercise. What kind of excercise are these ? any web links/ resource where i can get to know ?

I am on propecia for about 7 months now, I thought my hair loss was stabilized, but now suddenly I noticed a lot of shedding .Does this mean that propecia does nothing to me or why is this sudden wave of shedding ? Please help me !!!

I had my HT at Hair Loss treatment center, Troy MI. This is my 5th month. I havent seen much results yet. I was curious (as my name says) and also was suspisious of this HT game after acquiring some knowledge through this messageboard, so started talking to this guy michael heilman and asked for my exact number of grafts- He said i got "2259" and the deal ws actually for "2000", with the results i am having either i didnt get that many number of grafts or ..major part of the grafts are not growing..but anyways..my question.. - How could any one possibly tell or count the exact number of grafts..like 2259....is anyone counting each graft ?? if its approximate ..i can understand if the answers are like 2000 or 2100..but 2259 ..so specific..?? Am i smelling something here ???

Dr.Rose Thank you for your time and the knowledge you have shared. Your input certainly has helped me to take a decision on this issue with regards to my 2nd HT. Since i have had the first Ht as a strip, I think there is no point in going for FUE.Since I would have a scar anyways. Thank you again.

Hi Guys....I really got to thank you all for the support and advice..It is relly encoraging. I am hanging in there..waiting to see some results ?? Whats is MSM (I mean the expanded word )?? I would assume I could get it in any GNC or health store like that and also i hope no prescription is needed.Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you al lagain for the encoragement !!
