  1. Nice job on the web site. Informative and easy to navigate. Of course, patient results are impressive.
  2. Being at the 4 month mark today, I can really relate to your post. It was great. Also, awesome results.
  3. Bill - Thanks for your comments. I appreciate your support and understand 4 months is pretty early, so I am not discouraged. Petchski - Thanks for your comments. I appreciate it. I looked at your profile page and it looks very good. Bill and Petchski - I just added two additional pictures taken outdoors. All previous ones were taken in the bathroom under very bright lights.
  4. Received an email from NHI which included the following information: Starting immediately, NHI will offer a 20% reduction of our base fee structure for any traditional strip surgery performed prior to May 31, 2009. That means our Standby Program fees drop down to as low as $4 per graft! Our complete updated fee structure is on our website (or call for details). NHI has suspended the $100 initial consultation fee until May 31, 2009. Yes, free first consults are back! You can now finance up to 50% of your procedure fee, on approved credit, for a term of up to 24 months. The interest rate for the initial 6 month period is 0% and for the remaining months the interest rate has dropped to only 5%! These terms are for procedures completed before May 31, 2009. 5. Shank, I used it. I like what it did to my hair, although I don't believe it restored hair. It made it look fuller, I am thinking. I stopped using it several weeks prior to my HT and have not gone back on it yet.
  6. Awesome. Congratulations! Also, thanks for sharing information. Your contributions, which are objective and thoughtful, are very helpful.
  7. Wantego--- I do not see your blog. When I saw it previously, I thought your results looked great, which seemed to be the consensus.
  8. Chuckisduck--- Looks really good for less than four months. I am sure you must be very happy.
  9. wesley949--- Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you have been pleased with Dr. Bernstein both times. Nice to know your second time, in terms of healing, was better. I am very happy for you. Let me know how you progress, if you don't mind.
  10. Marie32--- Sorry to hear that you are experiencing some pain. I had some pain the first evening and since then, except when pulling out the staples, relatively pain free.
  11. I would participate if available. Would have to be evening for me, though.
  12. Ammars27--- I used the lasercomb prior to my HT. Can't say that it grew hair, but it seem to give me the appearance of fuller hair when I used it. I liked what it did for my hair. I stopped using it several weeks prior to my HT and have not gone back on it yet. Will, however, at some point. No side effects.
  13. Hey E, Thanks for your comments. Yesterday, got my first hair cut since the HT. (Yes, I paid for a hair cut.) Been going to him for many years. When he first saw me, he thought I had a light rash in the recipient area because of the healing that is still going on. I explained what I had done. Two people now know I had the procedure. One, my friend who went with me, will say it looks great when all is said and done. She is very supportive. My barber, however, will be brutally honest. It will be good to hear his perspective as well as have her support. Thanks, again, for your feedback.
  14. Just posted three month (plus one day) update to my blog. Not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but seeing some early growth.
  15. I appear to be a slow healer and early grower. See my updated blog.
  16. I just updated my pictures. It has been 12 weeks and you can see I am slow healer. Heal time varies.
  17. I would agree with hairthere. I had a good friend remove them and she did an excellent job, but still painful (not all but some). And I am sure if she was squemish (which could happen to someone removing them) she would have bailed and I would not have blamed her.
  18. Hey TonySC, Are you saying propecia only impacts the crown area? Can you expand on that? I thought was for more than the crown area. Also, why rogaine only once a day, not twice as recommended?
