  1. There is a 7-11 across the street from the Sheraton. It's like a little grocery store. I found it very convenient. The travel pillow is a must have for any HT surgery.
  2. It is interesting. There was post a couple weeks ago about Dr. Rahal working with Dr. Feller on a fue case. When these top docs work on or with each other I feel like I'm reading the old GI Joe vs the Transformers or Batman vs Superman comics...I know its stupid........
  3. Dr. Lindsey, I was wondering, did he pay his tab or did the military cover some it (via tricare)?
  4. Amazing transformation. Was wondering when you started to growth and when did it actually explode? I don't see the need for additional work, maybe some pics of what your concerned about.
  5. It is a DRAMATIC difference from where he started. I'm curious as to how you handle a patient like this. Are you actually offering to do 1500 units for a reduced price or even free? I agree with the future doc, below average results are easily noticed, but this guys results are quite remarkable.
  6. I was a lazy sack for the first three weeks and then finally started working out. I gained about 7 lbs. and lost all "tightness" in the midsection. To get back in shape quicker I figured I'd try some supplements. I bought these Nitric Oxide products and got to thinking. These products are vasodilators. Smoking/nicotine are vasoconstrictors. I know there have been numerous discussions on smoking and if it cuts of the O2 supply to the tiny blood vessels that nourish the scalp/follicles. Do you guys think these Nitric Oxide products could have the opposite effect? Maybe even speed up growth?
  7. Hey guys, Just posted pics from the first week on my blog. Everything is progressing normally. I'd say 95% of the transplanted hairs have shed....I've definitely entered the ugly duckling stage. Pretty barren on top....here we go again!
  8. It's been two weeks since my procedure. I use vitamin E oil to combat the dry scalp that is common after surgery. Every time I apply it many many baby hairs come out. They are each in single units.
  9. Maybe its a European thing....
  10. Looks good buddy. Your on your way. You were ready for basic training in your pre-op pics! Your post-op pics looked painful... I'm glad your sides grew back in for you.
  11. Hopefully....the pain dulls daily. I've just been a baby about playing with these scabs. It's the morning of the eighth day for me so I may be a little more aggressive with the shampoo today, but then again i'll probably wait til tomorrow morning!
  12. All doctors treat all patients with the assumption that something could be transferred. All physicians, dentists, or who ever deals with patients fluids must adhere to infection control standards set forth by OSHA requirements. This means gloves, masks, and eye protection. If aerosols or splattering is produced, smocks and head covers are also required. You cannot turn patients down for having a disease. The only defense this physician has is that a HT would not be recommended for this patient for "x" reason.
