  1. More details/pictures would be helpful.
  2. I think you got some very good advice. Think long term, as suggested, and realize once you take the first step, there is no easy way to go back. Research, research and more research.
  3. I would go back on and see what happens. You can always stop if it becomes an issue.
  4. I also apply the foam directly to my head. Much better than putting on hand, imo.
  5. I am thinking since you spent a good sum money on HT, probably not bad to spend good sum on hair cut . Looks great, buddy.
  6. Janis, What a wonderful transformation. I am very happy for you. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Congratulations. Look forward to seeing your updates. Dr. Rahal does great work.
  8. Excellent, my friend. I am very happy for you. Keep in touch.
  9. Very nice for 7 months. Look forward to seeing your updates.
  10. TakingThePlunge - I would agree with what others have stated. As you know, it is the final result that matters and you have plenty of time. As you pointed out, Dr. Alexander has a great track record. Keep us posted.
  11. Thanks for updating unfortunateHT and thanks to Dr. Feller for taking the time to clarify. Look forward to seeing results. Based on Dr. Feller's track record, I am thinking the final results will be very good.
  12. lost my swagger ??“ I will continue to update. I think updates are helpful. I had a 6 month update but I think it got removed when the system was restored. Bottom line, what really counts, as we all know, is the final result. I, basically, had three objectives with my HT. My primary objective was to cover the scars from the work I had previously done and undone. My second objective was to achieve a natural result. And my third objective was was for a subtle yet significant transformation. With that in mind, I can say that I pleased with the progress up to this point. Barring this past week, I have had both good and bad hair days over the last month, if you know what I mean. However, this past week I have had all good hair days. In terms of styling options, except when I was younger (parted in middle), I always parted my hair on my left side, a little higher than were it natural falls, which is how I am now doing it. Combed back I think makes it looks like I have a little more hair; however, it exposes the conservative hair line I requested. Further, I think combing back would make the transformation less subtle, since I always parted on the side. Thanks, LMS, for your supportive comments. I certainly appreciate it. Please let me know if you have additional questions. I like your signature---results will vary. HairHope and TC17 ??“ Thanks for your comments. Appreciate you taking the time to respond and your encouragement. Leeson ??“ Thanks for your supportive comments. I looked at your blog. Looks great. Eman ??“ I thought mine was progressing well and then I took a look at your most recent updates. Outstanding, my friend. Yes, we need to catch up. I enjoyed our conversations back in the day??¦ kaounis ??“ Thanks, again, for your supportive comments. I appreciate it.
  13. Updated blog with pictures (7 months). Thanks, again, to everyone who responded to my previous updates.
  14. kaounis ??“ Thanks for your follow up comments and your thoughts on my 6 month growth. I appreciate what you wrote and, as you suggested, going conservative can sometimes be a blessing in disguise and it does leave the patient with more options down the road.
  15. Dr. Lindsey, I am very, very sorry to hear about your daughter and wish you and your family the best.
  16. I am glad that you are posting again. Like others noted, your knowledge and contributions are appreciated.
  17. Bill ??“ I am happy to keep you guys posted. I think updates like this help everyone. In my five month update I made some comments on my progress (thinking out loud, sort of) and I think some may have thought I was criticizing Dr. Bernstein, which I was not. Also, I learned quite of bit from this site including not to prejudge, so I decided just to post pictures without any comments. Stimpson ??“ Thanks very much for responding to my update. I appreciate your supportive comments. Eman ??“ As usual, thanks. Appreciate hearing from you. kaounis and Leeson ??“ Thanks for responding. I appreciate your comments and also appreciate the analogy. Manko ??“ Thanks for your notes and for taking the time to go back and revisit my profile. As you noted, I did have scaring from previous work that was done and undone. Be that as it may, I think the quality of two of the five month pictures was very poor. I don't think the scaring/pitting was as bad as it looked on those two pictures. Today, I added two more pictures that were taken yesterday so you can see how it looks. When I comb my hair back, it looks fuller. However, I am parting it on the side at this time since I want the change to be more subtle. Hope that makes sense. aaron1234 ??“ Thanks very much for your supportive comments. I appreciate it. I see the improvement in your results from 6 to 10 months. Very nice.
  18. Updated blog (6 months) with six pictures.
  19. lost my swagger ??“ Thanks for your comments. I am trying to be as objective as possible. The last (second) time I went to my barber, as soon as I sat in the chair, another customer came in, so we could not talk. I will find a way to discuss with him the next time. I am seeing a difference since I last posted my pictures and will post a 6 month update shortly and would certainly appreciate your feedback. I am thinking that I may hold off from commenting, since I don't want to prejudge. With that said, there has been some improvement since I last posted. One day last week I was talking to a colleague about weight I have been trying to lose and she said I did look younger. I think that was more the hair than the weight. Thanks again and let me know if you have other questions.
  20. crow1 - That was my objective in posting those pictures. Clearly, room lighting and outside (sun) make a significant difference. With that said, I could have posted more and less favorable looking pictures. Let me know if you have other questions.
  21. Looks very good. Congratulations with growth up to this point.
