B-Spot, Your grafts looks very natural, kinda thin but hey, who here wouldn't want their hair thicker? I feel for you as I am in the same boat with a fine caliper of hair shaft. Damn genetics! At least we are blessed with infinite knowledge and loads of testosterone! Have you considered growing it out and combing straight back? I think the all-time outsanding cases: Bobman, Jotronic, Bill, Futzyhead etc. all have thicker than average hair shaft diameters and this is the huge differencemaker. They also have not lost too much in the lateral humps, high sides are a real benefit. Glad to see your new pics and you have come a long way. ps: If BHT improves, I think i could really help guys like us with the crown.

NO you do not have infinite donor hair. Hair can be moved more than once. Do to trauma or transection, the yield can actually be less. NG and Than-A are correct.

Nice work Dr. Feller, I agree with Bill, I believe a dense pack, front-loaded HT on a NW 6 cries out HT. This patient shown is obviously not NW 6 but if he has future hairloss, a dense front is not the best play IMO. I am NW 5-6, and am going with light coverage in the back. If I had the grafts to spare, I would absolutely want dense pack, some of us just dont have the option. It is important that the patient and doctor plan as a team and focus on the future as well as the present. That hairline looks great by the way, I am jealous!

Good advice and I agree with my HT brothers. the average FU conains about 2.2 hairs. So Dr Epstein: 2500 grafts x 2.2 hairs per graft = 5500 hairs total Dr. Griffin: 1300 grafs x 2.2 hairs per graft = 2860 hairs total

Thanks Janna and Bill, Yes I am due to update, I may need to start a new thread, and keep his link with it. My 5 month update really did not show much since much of my growth started late and the big difference was around months 7-8. Since then I had my second round with Dr. Vogel a little over 4 weeks ago. Things are healing well and I am looking forward to the Summer.
