  1. Melvin has uploaded a video on The Hair transplant network instagram page where they discuss this very issue
  2. Hello @Aussie T. i experienced the same issue earlier in the year when i restarted daily fin and minoxidil (i use the topical versions as i get sides from oral). This is perfectly normal to shed the first few months. By 6 months I noticed my existing hair becoming denser. I shared the same anxiety and nearly stopped but you have you trust that it will get better within a few months with daily use. Wish you well
  3. Thanks for the update @humezzz. It’s looking great. Are you pleased?
  4. Hey @humezzz. you must be at the 9 moth mark by now, hope its going well. Have you got any updates to share?
  5. Excellent result. Turan knocking it out of the park
  6. There has definitely been a lot of progress from month 7-11 months from the photos provided. I would also echo the other previous posts and wait for the 16 month mark and then reassess.
  7. Hi @Michael D Been reading your journey ( and posts on the other thread) and wondered if there any updates on how this worked out for you? Must be nearing the 12 month mark?
  8. Thanks for the photos @Damonh. I’m booked in with Turan so I was interested in your 12 month update. I echo Melvins comment and hope you get your desired result 🤞🏼
  9. hello @UKLad81. I stopped vaping a couple of months ago as I’m booked in for a HT in February next year. Always suffered from poor circulation in my feet but since stopping I’ve noticed a difference. Good circulation after a hair transplant can only be a good thing to give yourself the best chance of a result you’re happy with. Good luck
  10. Hey @Damonh hope you're well. Are you unhappy with the density or the overall design? Its difficult to compare the before and after photos as they're slightly blurry and not the best lighting. Do you have more photos under better lighting
  11. Hello @ewozy18. You can search the Top recommended surgeons at the top of the forum. Dr. Farjo is a recommended surgeon in Manchester and also Arshad (The hair DR) in Leeds if you're looking in the UK only.
  12. Hello @Big Rome. I’m from the Uk and have been using a triple action spray from Numan that contains 10% Minoxidil, 0.1% finasteride and 5% Azeliac acid. You use it once a day, 2 hours before bed to allow it to dry. I’ve been using it for five months and responded well. I’ve used oral finasteride on and off for 10 years but struggled with side effects. There is currently an offer if you buy 12months supply if it's your first purchase. hope this helps
  13. hey @blueandgold. I have an upcoming procedure planned of approximately 2500 grafts (subject to face to face consultation) and I've been graded a Norwood 3. There a quite a few cases on this forum of Norwood 5/6 where graft count is significantly higher than your what you've been estimated of 2000 -2500. You may need to look further into this to achieve coverage / density.
  14. Thanks @Melvin- Admin. Would have loved to see his 1 year update as he deserved the best outcome after that horror show. What a rollercoaster
  15. does anyone know how Sanjar's repair turned out? Just read this thread from start to finish and i feel emotionally involved. Wow
  16. Hi All, Firstly, thank you to the person(s) responsible for this informative platform to allow people like myself to educate, follow and be inspired by peoples hair loss journeys. Its been both insightful and humbling, that people can collectively share a space to discuss hair loss without the stigma or ridicule attached. As I'm new to this platform, id like to draw off peoples own experience / knowledge in terms of pre and aftercare tips, to give myself a chance of achieving the best possible result. I have booked by procedure with Fuecapilar in February next year with Dr. Turan, roughly 2500 grafts for the frontal area and temples. I have undergone an FUT procedure before in the UK however it wasn't great (also due to my failings) and another is required to increase density. Being honest, I could have done more in terms in of preparation and aftercare. Could anyone recommend their best tips in response to the below. 1. Any recommended shampoos, supplements etc after the procedure? 2. Any recommended oils etc to assist with the donor healing 3. Any guidance when I can apply my combined Topical minoxidil and topical finasteride spray after the procedure. I was thinking of taking oral finasteride in the 10 day period before the procedure and two weeks after and ceasing with the topical just to keep the finasteride in my system, even though it the oral gives me slight side effects (loss of libido etc.) Ive seen that minoxidil should not be applied to the scalp 10 days before due to potential blood loss. 4. Recommended time after procedure to have a buzz cut across all of the head after the procedure. 5. . Any other pre op or aftercare tips other than the obvious of not exercising etc. I note that these are probably questions for my clinic etc, however they are a lot of conflicting opinions online so im trying to draw off peoples own experiences to hopefully give myself the best possibility of a desired results. Thanks for reading Oliver
