  1. Hi all I'm sure it is just bruising but would like to get opinions on here about it because I always worry too much haha Had a second transplant done with Dr Laorwong a week ago and couldn't be happier with how it went and how it's going. But just noticed these lines above the transplanted hair and was wondering if it is bruising or shock loss. Can't quite tell from looking in the mirror or in pictures. Thanks!! :)
  2. I've been told 1000 by him, but as you said, will be easier for him to tell once in person. Haha would love to, but i'm only able to do March/April, which I found out is one of the hottest months in Thailand, so I will be melting 😂
  3. Yeah I just found the flight time is about 12 hours, but it is direct so that's a plus. I plan on getting there a couple days early to explore a bit and like you said, stay there a few days after to recover. I most likely will take advantage of all the aftercare he offers, and it does seem like it's amazing value compared to other surgeons. Am I right in thinking they provide you with a loose fitting bandana themselves? That's the plan Already looking at dates now with Dr Laorwong. Sounds like great advice for the plane seats. Will roughly be the same time for me also.
  4. Oh nice. I'm just worried about the long flight home with my head still full of holes haha How many grafts are you getting? And do you mind me asking what the cost will be?
  5. Hi all Was just wondering if anyone from Europe has had their transplant performed by Dr Laorwong in Bangkok? I live in London and am considering having my second/repair done by him, but am worried by the long haul flight. Also considering Dr Keser and Dr Mittal, but for value it seems Laorwong is up there with the best. My procedure will most likely only be about 1500 grafts max, so am thinking that maybe the flight and cost of flight may not be worth it for such a small procedure. Would like to hear your opinions. Cheers!!
  6. Yeah luckily my donor area still has plenty of grafts left also. Just need to choose a decent enough doctor next time. Have you an opinion on Dr Mani Mittal in London? Seen a few posts on here that look like good work and is also a recommended surgeon on here.
  7. Dr Ahmad Saaed at Fortes Clinic in London. Should've done a lot more research and wished I found this forum before I had it done. Just need to make sure I don't make the same mistake next time 🤷‍♂️
  8. Yeah, i'm just researching some clinics right now and won't try and book a consultation until maybe 11 months in
  9. These were taken earlier today. The light is harsher than it was in my previous pics, but it somehow looks like it's got worse 😂😭
  10. Safe to say it has been a failed transplant. Looks almost identical to 2 months ago unfortunately. Already looking at clinics for a repair/second hair transplant
  11. Thanks for all the feedback! I'm going to keep a positive outlook on it and give an update in a few months time. Hopefully it all works out well.
  12. Yeah the density is what bothers me most. Just hoping more grafts come through and thicken/darken. The surgeon was Dr Ahmed Saaed at Fortes Clinic in London
  13. Hi all. It's exactly 6 months post op for me tomorrow and would like to get some opinions on whether I am on the right track or whether I am behind in growth or should be worried. I had roughly 1500 grafts implanted. Thanks!
  14. Hi all. I'm just under a week from being 6 months post op and I am a bit worried about a gap I have noticed in my new hairline. I am satisfied with how the rest of the new hair is coming along but am uncertain whether this gap is something to be worried about or not? I have attached pics of when I had the transplant done to show there was indeed grafts impanted in that area. I hope you can help and ease my worries haha
