For the fatigue question???? Dr. Epstein has a large crew and they switched off. Dr. Epstein also did my frontal hairline and front mid section. Then When Dr.E finished he had 2 techs on each side of my head placing the grafts in. Also one of his techs was telling me that he was just about finished with his schooling and he was going to be a hairtransplant doctor. That made me more happy because he was a little more than just a tech. If you have a small office maybe it might not be right for only a couple people placing grafts, but Dr. E has a great large staff and everyone pitches in

I will back you up Dr. Epstein, 2953 grafts which would be considered a mega session. No shaving and look at the results of before and after pics of 4 1/2 months. In my procedure we did not shave,but my hair length was over an inch long. Dr. Epstein Is a Great Doctor and he can do it. Dr. Feller is also a Great Doctor who prefers to shave. I think both Doctors are great. If no one knew my decision on Ht docs It was between Dr. Epstein and Dr. Feller. The only reason I chose Epstein was because he called me personally right away and he had skills in the plastic surgury dept and this man is an artist. Thats what plastic surgeons do and his donar scars are superb. Plus Dr. Epstein told me that without shaving my head it would take longer, but your ht will be less noticed. Dr. Epstein was more concerned about my well being of my mind after the ht. Let me ask one question and then people can figure this out for themselves. If you shave your head and can have a procedure done in 5 hours and if you dont shave your head and can have the same procedure done in 7 hours without shaving your head. What is the gain? Who should be paid more and what is the gain for a doctor to put 2 extra hours into a procedure ? Doctor Epstein,is not concerned about the time and $$$. He is concerned with your final results of your Ht. What gain does Dr. Epstein really have for not shaving. The gain for him is more work!! Think about it guys it does not make sense!!! The only way it will make sense is if non-shaving does work. THOUGHT!!! (see my weblog with before and after results with Dr. Epstein)

from my understanding when I asked Dr. Epstein why he did not shave? His reply was you really dont need to shave and I like to see how your native hair falls down in its pattern to give you a more natural look. I liked that answer man,because I did not want to shave down completely

Thats awesome that there is a place to help these children. I have a 1 year old daughter and from the pics of that little girl on this page I changed the pic of my daughter in her place and it tore me to pieces.I will also give a donation myself.

Hey Jupiter Thanks alot for your thumbs up on the Ht. I really appreciate your vote of confidance. I took a different approach than most on the site. I kept shaving down my head to a #1 buzzer so my scar would get breathing area and applied aloe everyday for about 4 months, then I used the Rogaine foam in the morning and at bedtime night I used the kirkland minox. The Rogaine is more expensive but this combo works well for me and lowers the price for expenses. I am letting my hair grow out finally and soon you will see a New hair due. I cant wait for the 1 year mark just to see the fullness of what I really got with my 1st Ht. How is your battle going?

Hey Thanks Guys FOR THE VOTE OF CONFIDENCE!!! Yes im pretty pleased with the results. I cant wait for the 8 month mark myself!!! I have already talked with Dr. E and we discussed a 2nd procedure. My scar donor area is undetectable. The scar has healed very well and is pencil line thin. I guess if I get what everyone gets is a little more hair greed. So ht # 2 should happen. The final touchup session. Thanks guys for all your support and Thankyou to pat and Bill for this site to help me find a top doc to have my procedure.. Thank God I did not go to Bosley back a few years ago and found this site.

Sorry guys I have not been to active on the site for a couple of months. I have been so busy with work (im in my busy season)But I wanted to post some new pics for the brothers on the site. I am considering a 2nd ht with Dr. E for my final touchup session and then this should be the end of the road for hts for me. I think I will do my next ht on my Anniversary 1 year feb 7th 2009

Very Good point Bill!!! I agree with you a 100%, my only question is the girl is very young compared to her guy. I think over or around 10 years. She is just immature and has not experienced life.

Im Really sorry to hear your story man. I cant believe that there are docs that would compromise bad hts for $$$$ and disfigurement. Dr Heckle and Mr Hyde docs should be banned and sued for suck disfigurement. I think the courts should say ok its hard to sue but if you disfigure your practice will be shut down with a million dollar settlement. That just might make some docs say no to your surgury. But then again you had your ht done awhile back and that was the risk back then. I dont know much about flaps, but just the name alone gives me the shivers. God bless man and put everything into prayer as God knows your situation and he is always looking to help us.

Pitboss im from mass and looked into destafano. Not very Good I though and I talked to a few guys from the Boston area that saw him also. He seems to be the Best in mass and then Bosley is your other alternative and stay away!!! I spoke with them in a consult. Go to New York and there are great physicians there. In Reality!!! IM GOINGTO SWITCH THE SCENERIO!!! I have a very good friend who has been dating this lady for 6 years. She was pretty for alot of Years. She had a baby with my buddy and she packed on the pounds. She hated to work out and my buddy is in awesome shape as he hits the gym 6 times per week and is just plain cut. Im sure his girl is having a great time. But my buddy is very depressed and does not want to sleep with her because its not like it used to be. Always improve yourself if you can. If this girl wants her man to have an ht she should talk to him and tell him that she likes hair.. Guys we like hair and thats why we are here on this site. So lets stop bashing the girl and get a little real. She did not say she was going to leave him, just that it bothered her. Guys if your girl lost her front tooth and did nothing about it. What would you do??? lol

I agree with you asterisk. If I was single and had my ht done I would wait for awhile until my confidance was a 100% and go after the hottest lady rather than being a little nervous about your head out on a date. In full bloom you will feel great and she will be chasing you,not the other way around. You can have hamburger if you like and you can have a sirloin, but I prefer the filet and I would wait a little longer for the filet rather than the hamburger or sirloin. If I was not married, I would wait and hit the big time. I have alot of very pretty woman friends and before I started loosing my hair in my early 30s when I had a full head. They would disclose to me that balding men where kind of a turn off. That again was the very hott hott girls. But then again I would rather date an 8 then date a 10 who was just to much on vainness and shallowness.

There is no doubt in my mind that the future is always promising. With anything in life in time things or technology with knowlegde always improve. The ht business will improve and in 5 years I think it will be better. no doubt in my mind. They have come this far so why stop at this point. There will always be a guy who wants to invent something new and better. Part of the human nature!!!

All your newly transplanted hairs can stay without falling out. Its Very possible because I had 3k ht 4 months ago and I kept over 90% of all my hairs. They say that it is rare to not shed your new hairs. I guess I did not have to go through the ugly duckling stage as the guys put it on this site. Are you on rogaine and propecia thats what I was on. I started using rogaine on the new ht hairs at 14 days after the ht and was only on propecia 2 months before the surgury. good luck man

you can get a better deal, with good docs. Shop at $4 per graph, negotiate because 2k is alot. I paid less than $4 per graft and I got a very nice ht.

I hear you abby, I Was in the same boat but i am also married so chasing the girls has passed since I am a family man now. I also did marry a very pretty girl who is an ex-model. It ttok more work than the old days but soon enough it will be!! 9the hair lol) But I really have to say that I was not really happy as a predator and I was not happy loosing my hair.I lost my hair late around 31 years old is when it 1st started. You know what bothered me the most? when you start to loose your confidance it really affects your mind. But then again you had the charm and that does not completely leave.

im sorry but thats not the best advice. You need to like you for you and you dont need to be the tough guy type with personality and arrogance. Believe me I fell for that before I lost my hair. When I lost my hair it really gave me a hard look at myself. I lost my confidance big time,but it also let me see that i needed to change,because the looks are not as important than the charachter. I loved the looks but it really got me in more trouble than not. There is always a price to pay in either shoes. That was how I was as a man before I became a christian and lost my hair. I deceieved myself big time and it actually became a stumbling block for truth which was deception on attitude. I had it and it caused me alot of pain trying to discover who I really was and getting to the place that if someone does not accept me. Move on because someone will be there who truly cares about your feelings. You just got to weed out the bad ones. Believe me when I put on the attitude it did bring success in someways, but I never really had great peace,because I was a counterfeit and I knew it from my character, Plus the people who will be attracted to you in this state,have issues themselves (not to say that we all dont have issues)Just places to improve!!! You will find that out if you take the advice above. The advice was not half bad!!! Workout and feel good about yourself. Working out brings happy cells and that is true (endorphins or happy cells) Shave your head and keep a loving nature. If people are attracted to the arrogant guy run. They themselves have insecurity issues and your big mistake will be to choose them for a partner or friend .Look for someone you can relate to and understands we all have short comings and we are flawed creatures. Confidance does radiate but true confidance comes through liking yourself. If you dont like yourself you need to look more closely at your life and evaluate and begin to make changes. The bible says that mans heart is wicked and deceitful. Im sorry guys but im a deacon at a church and im just trying to really help this guy at the root,not the stem.
