If there is anything thing I have really learned from the threads of post-op and growth rate. Thats wait one year and suffer through the slow times of growth. Your mind is the gateway to your soul. Think negative and you will get negative. Think positive and there is always hope. The Golden rule of thumb is to wait 1 year and not rule out any doctor until atleast that one year is up. Thats a fair deal for your hairs to grow and the doc does not get a bad rap. You could really sprout at anytime. planting and harvest time. But when will your crop sprout? From reading all these blogs on poor growth!! Every vet is saying to just wait it out a little longer!!! I think thats the best advice and I am going to set a 1 year consult with Dr. Epstein in New York and take it from there. I have the plan and thats what we have to set our minds to!!! To give everything a fair chance!!! (hairgrowth/doctor) I think I would feel pretty stupid if I talked bad about a doc and complained about poor growth and then all of a sudden at 11 months or 12 months my hair took off like a horse race. Then I would be saying sorry. We dont have to say sorry just wait the full 1 year. I do feel for the people who dont see any growth at 6 months,but we are all in this together. The good part about Dr. Epstein is he stands behind his work as some other docs dont. Look to the positive it could be worse with another doc.

Dr. Epstein told me he had an ht,but I did not ask who did it. He also showed me!!!

In no particular order because I only had 1 ht experience with one Doctor. I would have to use all 4 to see the list in rank.I only have 4 choices!!!!! Epstein who did my ht H&W Feller Shapiro

I have been studying for an exam and have not been on for about a month. But Dr. E did not call me and ask to give him a good recomondation. Im just very pleased with work and no one friends even have a clue I had an ht!!! Bonus

Hairdew im sorry, I just read the entire thread and they really tore up Dr. E for awhile. I have not been on the site much since im studying for an exam. So not much time to post or read and when I finished 9 pages of assault,yours was the last and i was tired and i read it a little fast and I do see you being sarcastic lol good one Bro... Just to tell you other guys out there. I am 2 months post op and I got these thick little stubs flying out at 2 months and no complaints and no shockloss (thank God) So im in the waiting stage but thats the name of this game. I will be posting 3 month pics on May 7th. I did not post 2 month pics because I have this obsession with shaving down my head to see how the hairs are really coming in and to see my donor scar which is healing nicely. I will get out those pics for you unbelievers in Epsten.

yeah Aaron new hairs just started popping up,thick ones at 2 months. Aaron let me ask you think question? Is this the stage where the little pimples start to come out? I have seen a couple of red dots that where never there until this past week. I just shaved down my head again to 1/4 inch (almost bald) I like to see the new hairs coming in and see how my donor scar is healing. I think this will be the last shave down. I am going to wait until 3 months to post my next pics. Aaron those pics you saw where only 30 days post op not 2 months. I am not posting 2 months but you will see 3 months in less than 30 days. hairdrew Im just curious what you expect this man to go through. He needed 2 procedures and from his pics its not that bad. He might be a late bloomer,but he is not that late. If you read the messages the man spread the ht on the top. He was not going for density. He wanted it to look more natural being evenly spread. I just had my ht with Doc epstein 2 months ago on feb 7th . I have no complaints and I see hairs popping out at 2 months bro. Thick ones!!!! I have been busy lately and had not much time to post messages as I am studying for an exam. I wish I had the chance to step up for Dr. Epstein,but hear I am now and I will show you his work. Hello Aaron and welcome to the site. Are you going to be on the site much? I just had an ht with Dr. Epstein and I am at 2 months post-op. So far so good. Thats great that you are working with a good doc. I liked Dr. Epstein and his work.I flew from Boston down to Miami on feb 7th this year and it was a great experience. I guess on a forum we all have opinions and favorites. I guess it depends on what doc and what he is able to do for your case. Each Doc has a little different technique on shaving/nonshaving,mega session/non megga session /fue results/fut results and the list goes on. notgoing2gobald has his opinion as I do! I do respect this gent in his knowledge and contribution to this forum. From what I read he is not a know it all and when he does not know an answer he will be a straight shooter and tell you. I like that about him. Yes he has never had an ht and no experience of the procedure in reality. We understand that this is a forum to help men and woman make good decisions in picking a good ht doctor. Pat I do understand your concern because you did build this site and there are many coalition docs who deserve praise on there work. I think you made your point and I just ask that you would reinstate notgoingto2bald sooner than later. Whats the guy going to do with his time if he does not have this site lol ? Im sure he will behave next time around.

I had the dissolable sutures and they just fell out after 3 to 4weeks. I had no probs from choosing this route.

Time to do something Im sorry to hear about your lack of growth. I had an ht with Dr. Epstein 2 months ago. I am still in the waiting stage. I was glad to hear that Dr. E will stand by his work for you. When you spend that type of $$$$ and you really dont have it,bothers me that you where really counting on a big change,then you get dissapointed. I feel for you man!!! Keep your chin up and lets believe that all things will workout to your situation.

Yeah like dakota said alot of questions???? Lets start off slow and work our way to help you find what you are looking for?? 1st take some pics for us to see. 2nd are you taking any meds? You should be on propecia/proscar and using rogain/minox. 3rd if you are on the meds how long?? Alot of guys have been on the meds for atleast one year to see how the meds work for them. I myself did not get on the meds until 2 months prior to my 1st ultra fine ht. I have also very fine hair. There are some pics on my weblog with my stage of loss. I am only a few years older Im 39 years old. Lets start yjere and like I said get us some pics. Dont worry like dakota said you are in good hands on this site and we will not push any doc on,but each of us have used different docs for different reasons.

well im happy to hear that your old plugs are gone. I think I would of been a little uncomfortable in your situation and not knowing what was going through peoples minds. But those days are over dewayne and new beginnings!!! Good for you and happy hair prosperity

If I do decide to do another I am thinking about fue and I am going to wait a year to 18 months to see what my final outcome is. I also want fue to get better in the technology and the docs to be more experienced at doing them

Dewayne congrats on your ht and I saw your pics and they looked excellent and the doc did some nice clean work. Yeah my wife went to the procedure with me in everything and has been quite supportive. She said that I did not need the ht,but if it makes you happy go for it. She is A spanish girl from Bolivia. Are you considering another ht? I am willing to do another just for touchups,but I might not need another. I was a norwood 3 or 4.

Back in the hay day I did loose alot from that car. I bought a brand New 1999 Chrysler 300m 1st one out!! I had problems after a few years and the car was in and out of the shop with transmissions problems and the warranty was just about over. I did total the car which saved me and I was on the 5 year finance plan. So the insurance covered the 10k I owed. I think after that deal I got wiser and smarter with my $$$$. The ht would of been more cost effecient,but the technology was not where I liked it to be. The house is great debt and you are always putting equity into it. But the car I just bought was a practical 22k Mazda 3 car and I do have the hot wife. I guess I have not really had any problems with the hairloss that it effected the woman,but If I did I would of done the ht a long time ago. I can see from your standpoint if you are staying in your house and not going out how this would effect socializing. Hey Dewayne my friend just married a girl South Vietnam and she is only 23 years old and he is 44 years old. If you are looking for a hot wife I would go to the phillipines because that is a christian society and they speak english alot of the woman. lol
