Thats great i think, I will also have to punch out some grafts , whats the skin color now at the locations from where grafts were punched out does it have a slight white patch (just like we see it in donor), also can new hairs be implanted in the punched out areas ??

Looking good Any scarring of locations from where pluggy hairs were punched out from front also in total how many hairs were punched out from front hairline ?

Amazing work by dr bicer, can you also share a pic by pulling it backwards using hand to see if the old bad hairs are showing up in that case..

11 MONTH REPAIR UPDATE I was shedding heavily till November so wasn't able to share progress, after starting topical minoxidil again My shedding stopped my current regime is (2.5mg oral minoxidil in morning from past 6 months, 5% Topical minoxidil in night from past 3 months), Sharing different Images in Different Lighting conditions both outdoor and Indoor and Different Angles for assessment Temples have grown well both left and right temples are looking great and it frames my face properly Hairline density is looking less, also In Hairline 1-2 dotted lines are still visible from previous poor transplant (this is visible only when there is light from top or backwards also when we set or comb/hold hair backwards ) [you can see this in some Images], will have to discus this in detail in my next consultation, will adding more hairs in hairline hide the lines ? or I think I may have to remove some thick grafts placed in lines from 1st transplant but i don't know how scarring works do let me know your thoughts, suggestions and assessment regarding this as well. need your suggestions as it will guide and help me a lot !!!! Left side is looking good when hair is combed or pulled back, Right side as I said thick grafts in lines are still visible (its hidden when hair is not combed or pulled back as you can see in some Images) , Temples are looking great, overall things are better but still not satisfied and confused with some of the thick grafts in Lines especially on right side as seen in some Images attached from previous poor transplant

The new transplanted hairs are still very thin as of now I had a massive shed unfortunately and I m shedding more due to oral minoxidil which i started 5 months after repair- transplant so no improvements to show as of now in fact it became worse, i think my scalp was used to topical minoxidil from past 2 years which i stopped when i started oral minoxidil.. As of now I had to start topical minoxidil again along with oral to stop this pathetic shed (I m shedding like hell since past 3 months), mostly will have to wait again for 2-3 months to see some improvements some bad hairs in lines from 1st transplant are still visibile hopefully they get covered up in next 2-3 months so waiting for that..

Before i never used oral minoxidil just started in august 2023 (3 months now), yes the shedding can be due to oral minoxidil only but i was expecting it to be for 2 -2.5 months then stop but it didnt stopped for 3 months so I lost patience as well because i lost a lot in crown and mid-scalp also i think it was affecting my transplanted hairs in hairline and temples as i m in my 9th month after my repair procedure

For me I switched from topical to oral in 3 months I had heavy shedding like hell (topical was working great for me ) now i started topical again along with oral lets see how it goes the problem is i started oral minox 5 months after my transplant so results also got delayed because of this mass shedding, I think if topical works then better to continue topical only , I thought that after taking oral shedding will stop in 2-2.5 months but it was getting very aggresive don't know why

How much oral dose did you took daily and what was topical dose ?? are you planning to bring in topical again or combination of both ?

for me topical worked fine i used to use it 2 times daily 5% it showed results in 5-8 months after my 1st HT I started oral minox 2.5mg daily once 2 months back heavily shedding till now, so now no idea will it work for me or not have to wait for 1-2 months more, also i m confused should i start topical again i stopped it because it was greasy and had application fatigue

micro and macro irregularities, very tiny thin soft singles with proper angles and depth needed in front do your research properly and go to a specialist because there are many few who can do hairline and temples properly

Any idea how long does oral minoxidil shed lasts. I started oral minoxidil 2.5mg daily after 6 months of my HT, now shedding small thin hairs from past 2 months , was on topical minoxidil 5% once daily before, doc told me to stop topical and start oral minoxidil, topical was working for me but the stickiness and application was a concern ( I also thought i will start topical finasteride but was unable to get good topical finasteride ) now i am confused should i start topical along with oral minoxidil as well as my scalp was used to topical ? or should i continue with oral minoxidil only ? The shed is concerning me as crown, left temple and mid-crown is thinning a lot

Is shaving allowed ? as skin is still healing did you asked doctor first before shaving, thanks a lot for sharing the update..

How long does oral minoxidil shed lasts, I was on topical before it was working fine for me, I started oral minoxidil 2.5 mg per day 6 weeks back, shedding continues should i continue with oral or start topical as well along with oral ?

Yes the cobblestoning or raised bumps start appearing after 3 months (only when wrongly implanted hairs starts to pop up), and is completely visible at approx 12-14 months, its due to improper depth, thickness, angle and direction of implanted hairs..

Looking good as now, can you share close-up images of areas from where grafts were punched out on front hairline or temporals are there any white dots or scars been seen

I think we will have to see multiple high quality photos of different cases of both electolysis and 0.7mm punch FUE extractions, especially healing pics after 3-6-12 months to see if they have scars or white dots to conclude which one is a better option correct guys ?
