  1. I am just curious if anyone can provide some thoughts on what should be done to smooth out the hairline. More of a curve? More random hairs? So it is more uneven? Thanks
  2. Can you point out the doubles? It was always planned for me to go back for a touch up. Thanks.
  3. Hello, I had some work done and am going to get an additional procedure. I am super happy with the results and how quickly my hair grew back. However, I feel like the hairline seems a little too unnatural. My friend mentioned it and sort of bothers me. Any suggestions on how to make it seem more natural? Thanks! The photo above is dry hair. The one below is wet. Thanks!
  4. @GatsbyThanks so much - It is more the light headedness. On fin "it" still works but it isn't like every morning I have monster wood. People just say if you stop using then you lose gains. So it is making me worried. If I have had progress and I cut back some on fin let's say, could I maintain? Thanks.
  5. I am having an issue with either Minox or Fin. But want to switch from oral to topical minox first. Is there a proper way to approach this switch? Like for a couple of weeks use both? Also, should I microneedle? I have used topical foam minox years ago and didn't seem to have a bad reaction. Thanks for any advice.
  6. Random question. Loniten is no longer sold in the US right? But generics are correct? I had a 5mg pill that I got while traveling and was prescribed 2.5mg in America (I got the generic for Loniten). The weird thing is the 2.5mg pill is a little bigger than the 5mg I was using (I was splitting them). Should I be concerned? I googled a bit and Loniten is oral Minoxidil but just wanted to confirm. Thanks!
  7. @IMM1979 Thanks for the reply. What do you think of the other item he was using like the rosemary spray? Head massage item? Thanks!
  8. Hi, So I have realized that I have sebum in my scalp. It comes out like little dried oil balls (for the lack of a better description). I am on oral fin and min. But while looking around found this post. He is using some scrub would that help me keep my scalp more free of sebum? Also, does it hurt to use any of the other products he is using? I won't get a laser hat but I have read things about rosemary etc. To repeat I am on oral fin and min. I just want to do a better job taking care of my hair. Anyone else have a sebum problem? I am curious how you cleared it up. Thanks for any advice you can offer.
  9. I just checked Nizoral is for " is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and certain kinds of dandruff. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs." Why should someone use that? Not questioning you, just trying to educate myself. Thanks!
  10. What is the story related to fin and minox if your hair loss has stabilized? Like if you are in your 40s? Is it as important?
  11. I am thinking about starting Fin and Minox. Both in oral form. But have been reading about maybe it is a good idea to have some blood work done to establish a baseline. I am traveling at the moment so blood work seems to add up. So I am trying to figure out what is essential and can do more complete bloodwork back in the US. While I was searching, I found someone post this on reddit. Seems like a lot of tests. Which ones did you have done? Thanks. Edit: I have read that oral fin can be effective even at .2 mg and minox at .625mg twice a day. Anyone have success with lower doses like this? DHT, Free, LCMS/Dialysis Testosterone, Free+Total LC/MS Estradiol, Sensitive T3, Free Reverse T3, Serum T4 Free, Serum PSA, Serum Prolactin Progesterone FSH, Serum LH, serum
  12. I am hoping people could share tips on what led to (or what they think led to a fast recovery) I have one question though - if I don't go overboard on the number of grafts that minimizes competition for blood right? I read somewhere that too many grafts can cause shock. Some things I have read. 1) Neck pillow 2) Practice sleeping sitting up before hand 3) Aloe Vera 4) Lotion for the itching 5) Don't fly home right away, better to recover a bit before flying 6) Loose fitting cap 7) Some mention supplements like Biotin, anything else that is recommended? 😎 Rest/Don't workout for a month 9) If a graft falls out but no blood you are ok 10) Get on Fin and Min Those are some of the things I have read. Any other suggestions for a faster recovery? Thanks!
  13. Thanks for this post. Do carbs matter a lot to hair? I usually try to go Keto when losing weight. Thanks!
  14. Just a follow up. Anyone know when someone can start dieting post HT? Also, anyone have specific supplements they took? Not Fin or Min I mean like specific vitamins for the hair. Biotin etc. I want cut weight post HT but don't want to harm the HT. Thanks!
  15. At this point are you able to tell the difference still between the beard and scalp hairs? Thanks for the reply. It was very encouraging.
