Also, based on the research and conversations I’ve had with doctors. Dr Laorwong is looking like a preferred doctor for my repair. He has been great to deal with and very honest with his thoughts and strategies. Would be interested to know if anyone else has had a repair experience with him.

Hi All, I am now approaching 12 months and as imagined not much has changed it’s just a little more dense. If anything the misplaced hairs are more prominent now. I was wondering with the mis placed hairs they seem to have a natural curl back towards the back of my head when my natural hair sits forward. I was wondering how this is managed? I feel that if the grafts were flipped and the curls were forward it wouldn’t look half as bad. How do doctors understand which was the hair will curl and which way to place to ensure the curl matches the natural hair? Apologies in advanced if this is a rookie question lol. Many thanks,

I managed to get a hold of my immediate post op images. Based on these the angles and direction all seem to be okay? Could it just be a case of me waiting it out?

Where did these grafts get replanted? Does it require 2 surgeries? One for each side?

How many grafts do you think need replacing/removing based on the photos? My left side seems a lot more consistent where as the right is much more patchy and inconsistent.

@AhmadChaudhry can this be done in one surgery?

I see @AhmadChaudhry. Is the idea to remove and replant them into the scarce areas?

Thanks for your response everyone. I am not comfortable exposing the clinic at this stage as they are wanting to do another consult next month. I am definitely not comfortable letting them try and fix up this disaster given my current predicament. What do you think the chances are of getting a refund?

@HappyMan2021 what did your restoration cost approximately? I’ve consistently read that Mwamba & Bisanga are great doctors for repair work.

I’m 25. What percentage of the hair do you think needs to be relocated? And where do you relocate it too?

@HappyMan2021 this is my donor 2 weeks post transplant. Do you think I have enough left? I like to rock skin fades and do not want it to be noticeable if I go down the electrolysis path. The left side seems to be repairable, what are your thoughts? I had 2500 grafts total.
