Some of the areas do look overharvested but it could be temporary shock loss. How long has it been since your HT?

I don’t know just have to know your donor area is limited. You can use beard and body hair if you run out but it’s never as good as scalp hair.

without medication you'll lose ground and need more HTs

Testosterone and DHT decline with age but it seems hair follicles become more sensitive to DHT with age so we're screwed either way.  This explains why some men don't have much hair loss until they reach their 50-70s.

I've read studies that showed the benefits of fin can last up to six months or more after stopping.

Try a different brand.

Mate it’s normal to shed hair when you first start fin and min. You won’t get any results for at least 3-6 months.

I bumped my head during a flight and the area where I bumped had less density than other areas. Be careful.

Won't it become dependent on it?  Meaning your transplanted grafts will die if you stop.

sure but you'll continue to lose hair without these 2 meds, at least that's the consensus here.

In the largest study of its kind 90% of patients experienced thinning or degrading hair transplants after four years. "Recipient site influences" were thought to be partly to blame.

This is the most disturbing part of the study:

"Usage of minoxidil and finasteride and their influence in the longevity of the hair follicles in our study were not statistically significant."

Surgery is done by techs? Run away!

Btw 42yo diffuse thinner nw 3-4 (well I wouldn't use nw scale for diffusers, Ludwig's better in my opinion).

Shock loss can take 2-6 months to recover.  

It's brutal but you gotta do it to avoid losing grafts.

I didn’t have any improvement in density after month 6 but everyone is different.

your temple points don't look bad at all. I would just stick to finasteride.
