Hi All,
I'm 35 and have had 3 Hair transplant procedures with bad results with Dr.D**** in Los Gatos. From the start there were complications. So much so he gave me a repair for virtually cost free on the 3rd transplant. However, my native hair has remained strong, but my transplanted area is failing. Dr. D****'s only answer to this is to ask '' every transplant surgeon '' that they all fade in 5-10 years. I feel like this is a complete BS response
If anyone can comment on this, I'd appreciate the feedback and potential options.
Thanks -
He's not completely wrong according to one study:
"The 4 year follow up grading of hair loss showed moderate reduction in transplanted hair density in 55.35%, slightly reduced density in 27.67% greatly reduced in 8.03% and no change in the density in 8.92% subjects."

You think she’ll go to prison? Most likely she’ll get a plea deal and get probation, but hopefully won’t do anymore HT’s.

I don't see anything about long-term effects. I have read reports of users on reddit saying they've gotten similar side effects as finasteride (loss of libido, ED etc.). Saw palmetto is very weak compared to finasteride tho so I expect this is very rare.

Regarding saw palmetto, I may not take this again as I understand there are other potential side effects following long term use. My diet is relatively good with adequate amount of fibre. I eat a lot of fruit and veg and tend to avoid junk food.
It's interesting you mentioned about the semen being very dense, as you attributed to high testosterone levels. My girlfriend did comment one time, that mine was very thick in comparison to all of her previous partners who had a more "watery" viscosity. One could deduce from this that all of her previous lovers had full mops of hair!
I looking forward with interest the results of the DHT test. I'm also going to consider purchasing 1.5 mm of micro needle roller at the end of the month. It will be my new year's resolution to try it for 6 months.
where did you hear of potential long-term side effects?

No fever or strange ooze? Should be fine but you should check with your clinic to be sure.

Alot of grafts in 1 go, how was your sleep.
Did they give you any hat to wear to cover up, asking as i plan to stay in city for few days after surgeon and did you wear anything on the plane back?
Understand 1st 3 days after surgery the grafts are the most vulnerable so don't want to take any chances doing too much movements
most surgeons advise not to wear any kind of hat for at least 4-5 days because they can easily disrupt the grafts.

10 months, i dont know the size of the puches. this is close shaven. does this stop me from having another one in the future?
No but the number of grafts will be limited to avoid the back of your head looking thin and moth-eaten. SMP can be used to fill the gaps and make it look better.
Head covering or not!?

The bandages are only placed on the donor site. Anything placed on the transplanted site in the first few days can cause the grafts to dislodge.
