  1. ...Like filling a cup with water and you have a bunch of holes in the bottom of the cup. That's what a hair transplant is without medication..
  2. I'm 100% in agreement of staying in the hotel, recovery in the first few days post surgery is of major importance When I did mine in Turkey, I stayed 2 nights at the hotel and flew back to my country. I was too much of a bloody mess to walk in the street When I did mine in India, I stayed a full 24 hours in the hotel to recover and then I decided to put on a surgical cap on and walk around in the street in the 3rd day(during afternoon/evening) never during the hottest hours. Keeping the scalp hydrated with the provided spray and away from any dusts or toxins. That's my experience I understand that it's difficult to stay locked in the hotel room all day and there's only an amount of movie or series to watch before it gets boring. You just have to keep yourself safe at all times, avoiding situations where you bump your grafts or causing major blood pressure towards your head.. Just have to be cautious and patient. Good luck
  3. Hello, Things like this.. you get what you pay for I made the mistake of trying to save money on hair transplants and it didn't work. It is a life changing procedure, this is the wrong thing to save money on. On the other hand I completely understand that you don't want a clinic to try and rip you off either. If money is an issue, you can always save up. Be patient. The clinic isn't going anywhere any time soon. Eugenix tend to do a good job regardless who is working on you because they are all thought by the founding doctors. The consultation before surgery is the most important thing. Say what you want, what you don't want and what you expect. The minute you pay, means you are the one in charge You said you require 5500 grafts, that's a very big procedure and if it was me I would want the A team to be working on me because moving so many grafts is challenging For me at Eugenix, the choice was either Dr. Arika Bansal or Dr. Pradeep Sethi, since all my research was based on them and the relationship I built with them during my journey Good luck
  4. This looks extremely natural. Natural shape, natural hair directions and correct use of graft types.... you are going to have an excellent result
  5. Very nice progress, you will definitely have a good result Hang in there
  6. People will not like what I say but, Hair transplants without Finasteride is like going to the gym and eating nothing
  7. Hello, They are indeed not identical. Some might say temple points aren't meant to be symmetrical by nature and also I have noticed that Eugenix do not make them symmetrical on some of their patients unless you request it. After seeing both my sides slowly grow out I have gotten used to how it looks now. I personally wish I spent more time looking at the shape drawn before the procedure, but I was immensely focused on having soft and natural looking grafts rather than shapes Thanks for checking in on me and wishing you a great result in your procedure too man
  8. Hello, This is me in April 2017 The photo was taken 2 days before I went to Turkey for hair transplant Regarding my research for hair repair, it started from JT's YouTube channel recommending Eugenix and then later on I continued my research here on the forum after seeing patients get natural results Thanks
  9. Hey, It looks like the graft extraction wasn't spread out enough but rather congested.. however for some people the donor area shock loss always happens in the first month. I've had it. Come back again next month with a photo like this with the same haircut length and you will know if you were overharvested or not Good luck
  10. 6 MONTHS UPDATE A big month when it comes to a hair transplant procedure. I have definitely seen and felt a difference from previous months, however there is still some more growth that is yet to happen. In the beginning I thought I was one of the people who is a fast grower, especially on my temples, but now at month 6 I realize that I still have empty spots on the hairline which are yet to have hairs coming out of them. I hope I am a slow grower because it only means more growth. I will say that I am much more comfortable with my hair than I ever was. Waking up, showering and walking out the door is incredibly easy these days. If it's windy outside.. I don't give a sh*t. My hair stays as it is and I'm not worried about how my hairline looks either because I know it's more natural now and not having that transplanted appearance. With Finasteride things have been going super well. Religiously taking the 1mg per day routine, I almost gave up on the in the beginning because I had pain in left testicle (which went away over time) watery semen (which came back to normal now) and also slightly tired which doesn't happen anymore. I stuck to it and carried on. I am determined to see if it will work on me. I remember people like Karl @ Zoomster saying that it thickened his donor area. Small comments like these motivated me incredibly. I have been on the pill for almost 6 months now and hopefully Ill be able to continue it to preserve what I have. The top view of my entire head will always seem to appear thin, simply because all the hairs are implanted upwards thanks to Hair of Istanbul (worst clinic in Turkey by a mile), but I must live with it The left hand side temple has much more to improve, I see tiny stubble here and there which give me confidence for future growth. The right hand side temple has grown extremely well, to the point where ill be happy if it stays as is.. The hairline as mentioned is finally natural, with a few remaining empty spots still remaining to grow Finally, the crown has been a steady ship. I have seen and felt improvements. The crown is special to me because it was an area that was never touched previously, so it all feels like a new thing and I'm happy to see it grow slowly. Also, the donor area might look thick and full on the photos, but in reality it is simply due to medium length appearance and some SMP that I had from 4 years ago. The team at @Eugenix Hair Sciences did their best with my donor area, it's not easy to find a clinic work on someone who was destroyed and keep things the way they are rather than making it worse. I decided to skip a few haircuts the past weeks to see what happens, I haven't used hair products since before I got the procedure. I also threw away all my Toppik hair fiber products That's all for now Photos below are taken standing near a window with everyday natural light as always! (not strong direct sunlight): I will also attach a few side by side to see minor difference which have affected me very much in my life when it comes to confidence and natural appearance. Photos were taken at work, in an environment lighting of how people see me everyday It is a very conservative improvement, which is exactly what I wanted and what I will want to look like when I'm older Thanks all for showing interest. Will be updating in the next month or two
  11. One of the best crown coverages I have seen in a long time and only 7 months. Excellent work by the clinic @FueGenix
  12. Hello, all you have to do is sleep on your back with the neck pillow around your neck. I suggest you practice it two nights in a row before procedure just to get used to it An airplane neck pillow is great because even if you somehow turn while you sleep, you do not risk yourself from brushing grafts against the pillow. Do not stress yourself too much about sleeping. There is far bigger chance of damaging grafts while you're awake rather than while sleeping. Some people on this forum have hit their head or lost grafts in other ways, I have not yet seen anyone lose grafts while sleeping Good luck with your procedure, take it easy
  13. Hi again, the new hairline is above the highest frown. I made sure of it during the design drawing
  14. First time I'm saying this.. that is the best and cleanest extraction I've ever seen, especially for 3100 grafts
  15. @Murat-kz I chose the premium package with Dr Arika Bansal's technicians. The design of the new hairline and slits were made personally by Dr. Pradeep Sethi. The photo you attached is how I looked before the operation at Eugenix
  16. Hello, my natural hairline was 8.5 cm. In 2017 I went to Turkey to lower my hairline to have a smaller forehead, but the hairline was terrible. The original transplanted hairline was made at 7cm from glabella. 5 years later, I came to Eugenix to fix it, we decided that the best solution was the plant softer grafts in front of it, so we lowered it almost by 1 cm.. in order to have 3 rows of new single grafts Just now I have measured the center tip of my hairline and it is currently around 6cm from the glabella. This is the lowest a hairline should be for someone who suffers from male pattern baldness
  17. Thanks for the update mate.. it's brilliant to see that you still have a reasonable amount of hair at the back and sides to give your crown the touch up it deserves ☺️
  18. You're all good man, trust me Everything looks in order. Your donor area has healed up and your grafts are densely packed with the correct angles and growth direction. However things will show more accurately when hairs are matured later on. It will determine how easy you can style your hair You have nothing else to worry about right now, just wait until month 6 or 7 to get a rough idea of the final result @Madhur Vansil Good luck
  19. Hi Jay, You need to take Finasteride to stop follicle miniaturization and slow down male pattern baldness. Simple as that. There is nothing more to it If you have side affects, it's another story.. From my own experience, I didn't take Finasteride after my first hair transplant procedure and ending up paying the consequences... 5 years later.. I found myself needing another procedure because I lost a lot of hair in the crown and even the transplanted hairs became weaker. This only shows the importance of this medication
