Donor area after Hair Transplant (Eugenix)
Ryan Daniel replied to Boomerang's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Thanks for being honest with the pictures taken. There is no point trying to impress strangers online by something that looks completely different than real life Your donor area is very thick compared to how the top looks, so a haircut is a must. Nothing short, as I said a number 4 guard is extremely clean and smart Also thanks for the good luck, very kind of you to remember that I myself am also on the journey (soon 5 months) -
3 weeks post HT - How does my donor look?

Thanks for sharing. WOW. That's a lot of extractions but it seems symmetrical rather than all taken from a same spot. Looks like somewhere between 3000 and 4000? kindly confirm Now im hoping that it's just shock loss, which is guaranteed with so many extractions. Please update again next month by replying to this comment so i can remember you Good luck -
3 weeks post HT - How does my donor look?

As our friend Adrian has said, post op pictures would say a lot However, from my own experience it is normal. I had serious shock loss in the donor area in the first month of procedure. It is usually expected when having 2500+ extractions On the other hand, it would be a problem if your donor looked like this at 6 months to a year Otherwise... hang in there -
Donor area after Hair Transplant (Eugenix)
Ryan Daniel replied to Boomerang's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Your crown has many more months left to improve How short are you able to keep your hair? Maybe a number 4 guard on trimmer for a cleaner look? -
When it comes to Eugenix, results are usually always natural. The only thing you have to do is be completely open, talk, talk, talk and more talking. The consultation before the surgery is extremely important. It's not just about drawing a hairline and being happy with it and rushing into the operation room. Don't just fall in their arms just because they are an excellent clinic When I was there, they were aware that my donor isn't the best but I still had to make sure to point out areas that I don't want hairs extracted from. It is not a problem. With these kind of procedures, communication is key

Perfect donor management as usual by Dr Bisanga. A balanced extraction strategy will make your donor area look as if nothing was taken from it when it grows out a little. If this was clinic that lacks skilled experience they would of took 2297 grafts only from the middle part(safest zone) and leaving you with patchy area and making you wonder if you've been overharvested or not.. Well done on your research Enjoy your new hairline! and best of luck for the rest of your months!

Botched Hairtransplantion by HLC clinic in Ancara
Ryan Daniel replied to michael hofmann's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Shame on them. Clearly they had amateurs working on you on that day.. As someone who had parts of his donor destroyed I feel for you -
I was 22 and I got a hair transplant to half my scalp because i lost my hairline at 19. My hair looked good and full for about 2-3 years. After that everything started to thin, and even the crown. If I was taking medication I would of kept my thickness and my crown, but now I ended up having to get another HT to cover my crown and add density to hairline and temples.. Im 28 now and realized how important prevention is. Fin really stops miniaturization

Is this overharvesting
Ryan Daniel replied to LookMaxx's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Usually over harvest is when you can still see the scalp with longer hair like a clipper guard 3 or 4 The problem here with you is that they focused very much on harvesting from the safest zone rather than a wide harvest for a balanced appearance overall, it can be seen that below the crown and above nape area is completely untouched -

HT with 30% miniaturised donor
Ryan Daniel replied to Johnny129's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Nobody can have hair transplants without taking any form of medication -
It's just a dry dead hair shaft, not the physical bulb that creates the hair. After 19 days you are more than safe from losing the grafts
