  1. If you still have any hair growing on the microneedled area at all you should be fine. Get the Surgeon to inspect it either way
  2. Thank you for posting @Oxiborick rest assured no drama will happen as a result. Also, as you’d know by now, you are 100% not alone. There are many Who came to this forum who came here after being pulled in by similar tactics
  3. I understand the situation fine. Having seen countless stories of unsuccessful surgeries, I've never heard of the grafts growing for two years then stopping. A much clearer cut situation would be if the grafts didn't grow at all, or shock loss of the surrounding native hair. I imagine it must also be very frustrating and sorry you're experiencing this, but there's no official playbook. Unfortunately with no direct proof of surgical error, it is ultimately up to the surgeons. discretion. By all means you could suggest these solutions to them, but there's no guarantees they'd feel obligated.
  4. Good on you for being proactive. That's definitely a question for your surgeon. Unless someone has been in the same situation, you're unlikely to get a proper medical opinion here.
  5. The interesting point here is that they did grow fine for a while then, have and issue. Personally I don't see how it could be a surgical error if they did initially grow fine. Where from the donor was it extracted? are there any other hairs there miniaturising?
  6. We'd need whole head pictures to be certain but I'm afraid it looks like your pattern is a Norwood 7. Your first bet should be medication rather than surgery as you may get a lot of regrowth. If you've achieved stability there are doctors willing to operate on high norwoods (just make sure they're recommended ones!) but it's likely you'll need to have a very conservative hairline and focus grafts on the front and midscalp with thinner look in the crown. To maximise grafts from your limited donor, I'd strongly consider FUT if the scar isn't a dealbreaker. You can then move to FUE and BHT if you need more down the road
  7. It doesn’t show it much in the video but at the back it looks he’s got fairly thick donor hair at the back which goes pretty far down the neck. Don’t want to undermine his achievement, it’s brilliant, but good to keep it in perspective. Dr Pitella’s result is incredible, just keep in mind it used a mix of scalp, beard, and chest hair
  8. Are you comfortable saying which clinic? It pays to be very skeptical of social media. Have you closely seen the results of the people you've spoken to?
  9. @Oxiborick they can’t to you any more harm than they already have. Meanwhile, please tell us the clinic as you have no idea how much someone might thank you for stopping them from being their next victim. This isn’t drama, this is about looking out for each other as a community.
  10. Have you had side effects on other formulations?
  11. Hoping it works out for you, however remember that people can be very nice to you when selling something of this scale
  12. Looks like a perfect result in the hands of a master. So excited for you! I'll just point out for anyone new reading this, just because I surgeon is friendly and personable doesn't mean they're an expert. The focus should be on their track record of excellence first and foremost. In Dr Koniors case, he's the best of both worlds
  13. Any clinic selling laser treatment you have to go in-clinic is a total scam these days. Tell them to go back to 2005 haha
  14. PRP may help the grafts grow earlier, but NEVER should be sold as something to improve graft survivability. If you're grafts aren't surviving, you're simply doing bad surgery. If the surgery is done well, then it's just a money grab imo
  15. Not saying you have, but with how many bad clinics there are in Turkey, you may be making a mistake. Don't want to make assumptions, but if you've only specified you're going to Turkey, it implies you haven't done extensive research.
  16. Could be worth asking the clinic? Doubt they haven't had similar questions from international patients
  17. Is that to say he thinks derma-rolling is a waste of time as well? Or that PRP is a useless if you're already derma-rolling?
  18. Totally you should still go to Turkey for a Holiday. Biggest point for your HT journey is you shouldn't limit yourself by location. I guarantee there are good surgeons out there who could see you before December 2023
