  1. I’ve had this also. I was using Nizarol until my ht, and now using Alpecin. I’ve noticed my recipient area is quite flakey. I got some steroid cream from the doctor after a big flare up, but haven’t put it on my recipient area just in case it damages the follicles/new hair. Does anyone know whether this would be the case or whether it would be safe to put some steroid cream on that area? I’ve used it lightly on my face and it’s cleared it up completely but it’s not a long term solution.
  2. There are a lot of wigs and hairpieces knocking around for these older rockers. I remember seeing Maiden England in 88. Steve Harris appeared to be thinning towards the front in that video, but his hair is still the same style now but even thicker 🤷‍♂️
  3. 3 months and 3 weeks post HT. don’t usually have my fair combed up like Doc Brown from aback to the Future. Just to give an idea of progress.
  4. That looks amazing mate. Filled me with confidence as I had my HT with Dr Arshad in June. Hoping I get a similar result as I’d be made up with that.
  5. He’s just kept Iron Maiden off number 1 in the album charts. He deserves baldness, herpes and anything else God can throw at him 😂
  6. Thanks everyone. Dr Arshad’s team said I should be fine to use products on it now. Was thinking of getting it all shaved at number 4 so the graft growth matches the rest, but they advised to carry on with scissors for now.
  7. How long after a HT is it recommended to wait until you start using hair gel, spray, etc? I was told not to use hair dye for 12 months afterwards, but nothing about styling.
  8. I had mine done by Dr Arshad at the start of June. He was very professional and their customer support and aftercare is brilliant. My donor area healed pretty quickly and has blended in really well.
  9. There are some photos on a the Hair Dr (Dr Arshad) page on Facebook with Afro hair mate. I’m sure they’ll have some on their website too.
  10. I had mine done by Dr Arshad almost 2 months ago. He mentioned a consultation after 12 months to assess the transplant. Are you seeing him now because you’re concerned about the progress?
  11. I was about to mention Stevie G. Great hairline and even better footballer when he played for Liverpool.
  12. Wonder if he gets his hairpieces and brides mail order?
  13. People were mentioning having it done at their clinics in Birmingham and London. I had to sign up for a call before I could get on their website, so no doubt I’ll find out all of the information when they start stalking me 😂
  14. It’s actually in England. That’s why I can’t understand the ridiculous price.
  15. I’ve already had mine done mate. These ads probably come up due to me using Google to get on to the HRN page. There are loads of comments saying they’ve had a procures with this company, but surprisingly no pictures or responses when asked for pictures or more info.
  16. Has anyone seen this ad on Facebook? £1950 for a transplant! Surely there’s got to be a catch? https://medicalhaircentre.com/
  17. This is why I would never consider going to Turkey. They may be cheaper, and I’m sure there are some good clinics which other members have had good results from, but it seems that there are more bad than good, and people are being suckered in by the price. You usually get what you pay for. They’re just taking advantage of vulnerable people, knowing that most will be too ashamed to complain.
  18. I had a Pong games machine in the 70s, now I’ve got a PS5. Guess which has better graphics?
