    To be honest, I really don't feel like I lose that much a day. Maybe because I don't have that much to lose:-) I just think my hair keeps getting thinner.

    I've had two blood tests, first my DHEA was 1400, second it was 1100. The top range for my age is in the 700's... Went to an endroconlogist and he swore I must be taking steriods but I'm not... why would I lie to the guy? I'm going to see another one in a couple of weeks. Just wondering what the DHEA could be associated with... The Adrenal gland? does this have anything to do with hairloss?

    This test was only done weeks after I started taking fin... Does the DHEA mean anything?

    I am a diffuse thinner... Had a HT about a year ago at age 23... I just don't understand if I have the average DHT levels for my age, why I am balding at such a fast rate? Also, could the DHEA have anything to do with it? I was tested for quite a lot and everything else seemed normal..

    I also had my DHT tested... I was a 50 with the range for my age being 25 to 75... SO if I am average like this, does that mean DHT is not causing hairloss and it is something else?

    Dr. Simmons, Thank you and all the doctors for your replies. I am not in immediate need of another HT. I just know I am going to need one in the future. I did get back on the little pill about a month ago and am going to see how that works out over the next few months. Right now I am just trying to learn as much as a can about my sitution and not rush into anything like I did for my first HT. Thanks again!!

    Well, I am more than likely going to need more HT's in the future... So that's why I am at a loss as to what to do... Have the whole scar taken out while still adding hair? That may be difficult because it is just below the octipal ridge..

    Dr. Beehner, Thank you for the reply... But I have a question... Are you saying cut three separate donor strips out above the scar? Wouldn't that leave me with a bunch of scaring on the back of my head? And you are correct that the widest part of my scars are the two corners where it starts to go up.
