BULLSH&*%$!All you guys want to do is down play the situation. This crap is poison. I'll repeat it again for the thick headed~Do you think the corrupt FDA cares about U? Greed is everywhere pharmseutical companies especially. They pay off the doctors with kick backs & insentives. They are stuffing their pockets at your expense.Merk is a huge global company and their reps are on this site trying to convince you its safe~WRONG!!!!!!!!! You guy are intelligent do your own research. I'm here to tell you the statitics are wrong it affects a vast majority of men. Try weening of the drug for a few months and get some blood test while keeping a log or journal.Be your own best judge. This stuff affect your natural Test. Go w/an HT but have a good course of action/strategy but putting irregular substance in your body is not healthy. Bill~On a light note I have documented my progess or degress on a journal w/having blood test. Some symptons have stopped but many remain. Then I found propeciahelp.com and found many men suffer from post-fina symptons. My quest is only to help you folks out~honorable intent but inevitably the choice is yours! -

I feel I have to seemingly interject: I had very little side effects except tectucular pain, penis curving to the left, shrinkage, wrinkling, headaches, decrease in vision, watery semen, brain fog, loss of limbido, increase heart rate, shortness of breathe, increase anger, chest pains, loss of motivation to name a few! Inevitably buddy the decision is yours. -
The short answer is NO its not safe. A guy was on Propecia for 10 years and mentioned no symptoms while on the drug . Recently he went off the drug and his whole body crashed and he slowly trying to reclaim his life.

Thank you Doctor for you comment! I have stopped for over a year now and suffer from hard side effects. Some gentlemen even contiplated suicide from severe depression, loss of sight,no libido, decreased muscle mass, low motivation, man boobs(start of endo) and the list goes on........ Even bobdybuilders cycle off drugs periodically. Although, from a patient stand point; I would suggest several small(small scar less noticable) strip procedures or fue to reach one's goals w/no drug consumption.Even Saw P as a DHT injhibitor has reck some men's life. In doing so,one wouldn't have to chase baldness/hairloss for the rest of their life and could opt to shave their head with no complication from drug cosumption. Scars are one thing but continual side effects is yet another.Good luck! -

MMHCE~dutasteride is even worse than Fina brother. What's more impotant you heart and kidney/penis or hair??????? Take it from a post-fin suffer! Stick to topical solutions.Easier for the body to handle. Not without complications~even rogaine has side effcts! -

Propecia=poison You will be taking your own life and major health complications in your own hands. Not worth it!!!!!!!!!!1 -
Thanks you gentlemen for you comments. I really didn't want to go fue as I already have done strip and have several scars on top and in back of my head from a poor mini/micro procedure.I let my hair grow out to cover these areas and not look like a freak or brain surgery canidate. Wouldn't it be a better option to do a small strip of 1200-1500 units covering the scars on top of my head. Then go into a corrective procedure later date to make the lower scar smaller or linear by conslidation only!? Its hard enough coming on here and explaining my situation.Although,in doing so;I hope it helps other make an educated decision about their hair loss. How I long to shave my head now. Thanks again guys for your input.

Thanks..........was considering having the lower scar cleaned up a bit but according to the good doctors on this site, its to low to be consolidated(tri-closure)into one scar. This has to be done by itself and no replanting of grafts. Then a year or so later I can go back to the clinic and get another HT using the linear scar(Coalition Doc) in the optimal region for a conservative small procedure. Would this be a good plan of attack? I have ascertained this information from years of research and speaking w/some top docs. Is fue a viable tool in covering up old scars? Then I'll have dots and scars all over my head~No?
