    I am not really worried about lowering my hairline as I have always had a large forhead. I guess what I don't understand is how it's a waste of donor hair when I am putting it onto places that I know are going to bald?

    I had a hair transplant 9 months ago and am not very happy with the results. Doctor did not lower my hairline, just filled in recessions with about 1600 grafts. I had to stop taking propecia because of its side effects. What do you guys think? Go to another doctor for another one? I am 23.

    My side effects were a decreased sex drive. I was a norwood three vertx, doctor brought me to a norwood 2.

    Was taking Proscar 1/4's every day until my hair transplant back in August. I stopped taking it after my hair transplant because I didn't care for the side effects. I didn't seem to experience much shock loss after my hair transplant but have began to notice severe thinning of my hair. Is this because I stopped the proscar? If I were to get back on it will my hair become full again or only maintain what I have? I am a 23 yo male.

    Does anyone have an opinion on whether the doctors that require you to cut your hair do a better job? I would think it would benefit, but it's just so hard to do.
