    Do you not think that there is significant undisclosed information on fin? Of course those with sides are more likely to be vocal on side effects, but I really do believe this rate of incidents is higher than those early studies. Also, if I remember correctly, the oft stated 2% was based on a short term trial with no long term monitoring. I'm not a conspiracy theorist in the slightest.

    I never quite understand this 'age appropriate' hair line, and entirely disagree with it in this scenario. If it's solely from a donor retention/management perspective, of course it's best to be more conservative, but putting this to one side and focusing on the aesthetic, which is usually the basis of these comments, there are men in there 70s without hair loss, who have NW 0 or 1 hairlines, and this does not look inappropriate in the slightest.

    great interview Melvin, thanks. I've been a long time lurker and from a technical perspective, this is the best so far. I had a consultation with Dr Reddy a couple of years ago and found him to be very ethical, detailed and experienced.

    I do think Eucapil assisted in stabilising hair loss and as a mild DHT blocker, that should be the case. I appreciate it has not been widely tested, but for the relatively low cost and benefits that seemed to occur, in lieu or fin, dut, etc, it seems a no brainer for now. The time I stopped on minoxidil was advised by the surgeon and I do agree. I think it does dry the scalp, which you want in as good a state as possible for the HT. Obviously Dr Charles knows far more on this matter than I do, though.

    Cuoto has had the best results I've seen, with de Freitas not far behind.

    I stopped using eucapil a month before my HT in December and topical min 2 weeks before, and restarted a month later. Now, nearly 2 months on, I seem to be shedding quite a bit. Have others experienced this after a relatively short break/some time after restarting?

    I refuse to take finasteride (and unfortunately Dr de Freitas wouldn't operate on me in spite of relatively minimal and stable hair loss, but that's his prerogative), but would consider topical dut. Any further info would be great.

    completely normal. one thing that I would say is that you'll be surprised how quickly and easily the day goes. some users on here mentioned the injections are dreadful. I don't have a needle phobia, but was slightly apprehensive about it - they were fine, though. obviously it's not the most pleasant thing having repeated injections in your head, but it's more a few moments of discomfort, as opposed to pain. everything after that is a breeze and you may well fall asleep.

    long time lurker here. thanks for all the info on HRN, which has helped me massively in my research over the past few years. interesting topic and was going to start something similar. not a pimple, but after I had a HT a couple of months ago, the largest scab left a dent on my hairline/just behind when I removed it during hair washing. I'm not yet concerned and have of course contacted the clinic, but has anyone else experienced similar? I'm still in the very early stages, but it does appear far less dense than the other areas.
