  1. Unbelievable @Bandit90! Crown looking amazing and remember that it can show improvement through 18 months.
  2. It's been a wild ride @MazABand glad I was (am) able to share it with you. Oh and BTW...incredible hair!
  3. Looking excellent @general-etwan- You are right on track! As you mention, even at this point you have the appearance of a pretty normal head of hair! As your donor recovers over the coming months and hair grows in, it will reach a new level. I think as you blend the donor with the crown, it will look even better. Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds over the coming months.
  4. And thank you for your guidance and insight to help me formulate this plan @Melvin- Admin!
  5. Thanks!...Funny @ZeeMan- We haven't seen each other in a while as she works in another department- lol. Your results look excellent as well- enjoy the hair!
  6. That is a VERY good questions @Shadmanand one I have deliberated on. While in an ideal world, I would add density to the midscalp, I am not inclined to do it now as properly styled and at good length, my scalp is pretty much hidden even in harsher lighting. For this reason, my plan at this time is to address the crown ONLY with the proposed 3k grafts, which they feel would take to fill it with ample density. When the doc saw me in Philadelphia, he thought I had around 5-5.5k grafts left for use (3-3.5k scalp and at least 2k beard). If I go with this strategy, I should have at least another 2k grafts or so to play with after the upcoming procedure. It is tempting to dump several more hundred into the midscalp, however, my aspiration is to have an equivalent (or near it) amount of density between top and crown rather than having one more heavily favored which is why I am opting for this strategy. In addition, I many times hear people say that they wished they had a little more density in the crown. With the hopefully minimum of 2k grafts left after this upcoming procedure, I could have flexibility should hair loss progress or I want more density in one area.
  7. Month 12 Finally...1 year. It seems like an eternity ago since I had my procedure. No major changes to report. The length, I think allows for better illusion as I have not cut the top for the entire year. I tried to capture photos with different lighting and combing. I am super grateful for the results and hope they stick around :). I debated about getting a trim, but I figured I would wait as they give 'free' trims when you have a procedure...stay tuned for the crown :).
  8. Hi @Capelli21- Looking good already and remember that you are ONLY 4 months post procedure. More good stuff to come!
  9. Looks good @ZeeMan- I am wondering what it would look like to grown top longer and comb backwards to provide more of the illusion of density to the crown.
  10. You might just be a minimal shed guy like I was- fingers crossed...looking great for 2 months.
  11. Looking good @general-etwan- What would it look like instead of combing forward, if you combed backwards instead. I am curious as to whether the density would look even better.
  12. You're welcome. My redness took probably 3-4 months to completely subside (although not really noticible after several weeks), others happen sooner
  13. Hi @Singh1276- This is all looking good and normal to me. I am 11 months post-Eugenix and am super happy with results (you can check my thread). Like you, I and lots of others) was completely paranoid with the head wash, scabs, etc...it is totally understandable. I took until about the 10th or 11th day for all scabs to come off (4-5 head washes). I think your scalp and donor look excellent- totally on par- as there seems to be only a couple of scabs left. Definitely trust the Eugenix Care Team with this process. Any BTW, don't worry if you lost 1 graft, it will not make a difference in the outcome. I am guessing your final scabs should come off in the next day. After that, just protect from the sun for a few months and sit back and relax as the outcomes unfold :).
  14. Thanks @Melvin- Moderator- It's grown in super nicely since those early stage photos! Many thanks to you for the leadership and education you are providing on this forum. It is the reason why I landed in the right place!
  15. Hi @vortex898- I see the photo you are referring to. I think that is more the bright lights and me lifting my eyebrows to create tension which is causing redness. When I look into the mirror and even close up with bright lights, there is no redness.
  16. 11 Months Here you go, everyone- Tried to get photos in different kinds of lighting. Simply put, I am delighted! Hope these photos help those of you who were like me, less than a year ago deciding on where to go and questioning whether I was making the correct decision. I was pretty confident going to Eugenix based on the results I saw from other NW6/7 comrades who went there, but you never know how it will turn out on you. I've said it before, it is the people on this forum who post their photos and talk about their experiences which makes this a treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom. Thank you!
  17. Incredible, Karl- You better stay connected to this community as it would not be the same without you! You have been such an inspiration!
  18. @Capelli21I would agree with @mrmane85that the donor even at this point looks acceptable. Looks like you have a buzz cut to me, but it will most definitely improve! The top is looking incredible, especially for 3 months! This is going to be epic! Hold on tight...
  19. Looking great! Will continue to thicken and when you grow longer and comb backwards, it will make look a lot more full with virtually no spaces.
  20. Hi @Capelli21- Good question about 'anagen desychronization'- My understanding is that beard hairs have a much shorter cycle than scalp grafts so what @Bandit90may be experiencing is not necessarily anagen desych, but beard hairs going into a telogen phase and then again, of course, it could be anagen desych, but I don't think beard hairs are more susceptible to it.
