I'd be shocked if he actually paid. People who pay, never speak about their surgery or talk about the clinic in any promotional way. Like Machine Gun Kelly, Elon Musk, Steve Carrell.

Is it just an ego thing? Why didn't he spring for top-notch work?

He’s promoted that surgeon who also did Tygas hairline as well, seems like he must’ve got it for free. Man the memes are ruthless.

In some podcast interview, Tory said he paid 30k for his transplant and was looking forward to wearing his hair in cornrows soon. He talked about the surgeon as well.

And would this be an aggressive, passive or bizarre response for you?  My first post on this thread was that @Newyear newhair he will have a good result, then I only wrote him if he had asked Cinik, what will he do if something goes wrong, wishing him that everything goes well.

    Then I misunderstood.

Sorry you had a bad experience with Cinik. All surgeons should stand by their work.

  4. It looks like early stage thinning of your crown, i.e. male pattern baldness.

Dying your hair doesn't make a damn bit of difference, unless you were doing something like a harsh bleaching down to your roots, and even then it wouldn't be localized thinning.

Go to a dermatologist with some actual experience treating hair loss. The longer you play around with vitamins and other crap, the worse this will get.

A slightly larger punch may be necessary for patients with wavy or curly hair, as the hair may continue to curl below the surface of the scalp, so a punch of a slightly larger diameter would be needed to ensure that the entire follicle is encapsulated and there is no transection.

Does Caucasian hair curl below the surface of the scalp?

I don't really consider myself a transgender. Right now I am taking 1.25 mg finasteride and use keto shampoo every 4 days. It halted my hairloss for 2 years now. I ordered oral minoxidil, and will start using it soon enough. I'm gonna move out from my parents by end of the year, and propably start low dose of oral spyro,as I want to still have sexual function. Right now I'm just trying to to do some research and form some realistic expectations. I will propably wait till 24, and get a small 2k FUT with either Gabel or Bloxham. Thanks for answer.

This drug protocol will not give you "less Androgens than born females" as stated in your earlier post.

A small 2k FUT will not give you any kind of unusually high density.

  7. @ProfessorBald I've heard that Dr Lupanzula in Brussels sells topical Dutasteride. Since your hair loss is on the aggressive side, you might consider using something more potent to try and manage your MPB. Also look into RU58841 and see if you're comfortable using a topical like that. You are obviously very DHT sensitive, but I personally feel you still have time to make a significant improvement in your hair through pharmacological means.

Dr. Bisanga and Dr Feriduni are in Belgium. I can't imagine two more aesthetic and reliable HT surgeons, but do your own research to confirm. Your budget needs to go up, though.

Save up more cash for the next year or two and use that time for experimentation and improvement on your hair.

I wasn't aware of any of that pre-surgery but did read about it a few months ago. In saying that, I don't think it's worth me worrying about as what is done is done and you can get yourself into a negative mindset if you dwell on such things.

As for his skill as a surgeon, I wouldn't call him amateur. I think he's a decent surgeon with a good knowledge base and so when I see him in a week I'll be discussing all of the things I mentioned in my above comments as he is priced as a top surgeon and should be producing that level of work.

I have a lot of respect for your mindset. Something tells me you'll end up with the results you want.

Where are all the critics now? That’s why it’s important not to fall victim to herd mentality. One person says it, than another repeats it, and then pretty soon it becomes a “fact.” I have and still believe asmed was unfairly attacked. That said, we did remove them based on sheer volume. Ideally, we prefer our surgeons to work on 1-2 patients per day. That said, they are not what many repeat on this forum. Once we removed them the critics all but vanished, which is very revealing to me.

I've certainly been guilty of this behavior.

Rather than expecting perfect results from an imperfect procedure, it might be better to look at how a surgeon deals with their results that don't turn out as expected. Do they stand by their patients?

There are other clinics that most would agree do slightly more aesthetic hairlines overall, but ASMED imo do the most natural and best temple point work in the world. Hasson/Wong also do very good temple work. Big graft numbers are definitely part of it though.

Tbh I'm not aware of a temple point result that is more impressive than Kraistoff's either. The side profile difference is insane.

It seems to me like many surgeons try and weasel out of doing temple points with the whole, "I don't think you you need it" line. As if anyone "needs" temple points or even a HT at all. I feel as if I may have written off ASMED for a HT unfairly due to some of the rep they've developed around here, instead of using my own judgement based on their results.

@Kraistoff Your hair looks fantastic. What a killer transformation.

You really have time on your hands my friend. I have no desire to overcomplicating things answering point by point.

I have had surgery with 5 or 6 of the best FUE surgeons in the world (most consistent outstanding results, highest graft survival rates and close to a 100% patient satisfaction, almost non existent bad reviews after thousands of surgeries performed) and Couto is by a mile the best out of all of them. Second is Freitas. Third comes Feriduni. After that I would put Dr Lorenzo and Bruno Pinto.

The best BHT surgeon by far Mwamba and HLC (Ozgur)

If I'm reading you correctly, your favorite surgeon in the world is Couto, but he didn't even come close to delivering your best result? Why did you like him so much?

To be honest, nobody would ever see any doubles in the hairline due to your hair characteristics. It's mostly visible with straight/wavy hair styled up, but yours have pretty good kink to it.

6 months is just the beginning and you will be surprised he much better it will get in the end.

I totally agree with this. I've been compulsively looking at hair transplant results for the past year and I wouldn't have noticed.

@NDAustralia I get why you would be annoyed by the doubles, though. It was sloppy and avoidable on the doctor's part. You paid a premium price to go to The Knudsen Clinic, so you had an expectation of a meticulously crafted hairline.

@Egyit was done in turkey. I am in communication with him so I'm reluctant as yet to name him.

Nice. So as long as you get yours from this awful clinic, who cares about any other guys who might go to them in the future.

They already told you to pay up for a second procedure. What do you have to lose by naming them at this point?

The package thing is no different than what many top surgeons are doing, as a patient you have a choice. It’s not like they’re delegating to technicians. The other packages are doctors. How do you think surgeons get there start?

It’s an apprenticeship. They perform surgery under the supervision of another experienced surgeon. That’s how every surgeon has done it. If the patient is fully aware of who’s doing what during their surgery and they agree to it, based on a lower price. I see zero issues, it’s only the people who come here to stir up drama.

The different packages do have various levels of doctor and tech involvement.

@TrixGlendevon made valid points about the ethics of packages and the difficulty in determining which results are part of which package.

On a personal note, I was about to pay my deposit with Eugenix to schedule surgery with the "Premium" package when they presented me with the option to go with the "Duo Premium" package. It was a turn off.

I'm not trying to be dramatic. Just stating how I feel.

Thanks for the feedback, I agree, I am very impressed that they are able to pull off the revolving door of surgeons without sacrificing consistency

When you say "revolving door of surgeons" do you mean that HLC replaces it's working team of doctors frequently?
