It’s well documented on the forum, guys actually took pictures. I’ll say this, Cinik seems to get good results, as does Erdogan, but it’s done by technicians.

In my opinion, it’s best to look outside of Turkey, 99% of the clinics there are able to charge less money, because they perform surgeries in a conveyor belt like assembly.

I’ve seen a troubling trend in the past few years, it used to be guys would ask for the best surgeons. Now, no one asks for the best, they say who’s the cheapest. Bad mindset overall. We’re talking a cosmetic procedure to your head, theres a lot of things to go cheap on, but this procedure isn’t one of them.

Are any of these posts recent? If taxi drivers are performing 8 procedures per day, I expect to hear a lot about it. Not just on these forums but everywhere.

@Foobar Turkey is the world capital of botched hair transplants.

Cinik and FUE Capilar are hairmills with technicians (without medical background that could have been taxi drivers 2 months before your surgery) operating on 8 patients per day.

Hairmills like this are the norm in Turkey and several offer all inclusive prices (a red alert for anyone that values getting good results from a surgery in any medical field).

The only safe option in Turkey in HLC at 2.5€/graft but for that price your are better off going to Dr. Bruno Ferreira or Dr. Ximena Villa (both charge the same price).

Is this just conjecture? How would you actually know all this? I certainly don't think the technicians I seen were taxi drivers. I've definitely seen the hate for clinics in Turkey but rarely seen the evidence to back it up. I have been to see Dr Cinik and his team, I can tell you for a fact that they were more professional than most clinics I had approached in the UK. As for 8 patients a day, that's a wild comment to make. I never seen more than 2 patients per day and I was the ONLY patient the day I had my HT

Yes I went with that package, a few changes made to his hairline as he initially had it too a point, but I wasn’t happy with that, thanks for your comments.

Haha! I did this too, I didn't like the hairline being too pointed.

Glad you had a good experience, everything looks fantastic.

Yea, its the best length for the “illusion of density” a # 4 guard is basically a buzz cut. There’s no way you won’t spot the difference at that length. You could always buzz it zero guard, but you’ll see scars. Any reason why you wanna keep such short hair?

This is the sweet spot length

If ever I had hair goals, this would be it. 🙏🙌😇

  5. I always felt pretty bad for Wayne, I'm sure most of us know the anguish of losing our hair but he has been through all this whilst in the public eye. Suppose all that money might help make up for it a little bit. 😄 At least he's proof of how amazing good concealer can be. 🤗

Do we know if he actually took Fin/Dut and stuck with it?

plz update with your latest pics , hows your hair growing. I have a doubt why there is a gap between each grafts, doesnt it effect the density of hair after they grow.

can any on tell about all these punjabi music industry singers really gone through HT from dr. bhatti, or its just a publicity stunt by making youtube videos. As looking their hair its seems so densed. But in real website of darling buds (before/after) pics seems to have low density achieved by clients. Plz help as i was also facinated by such vidoes and planning to go for HT.

Can't really comment on the singers but a lot of celebrities have had HT's, a lot also use concealer too.

  7. @GLHF

I wanted more in my crown too but I was told it would be too risky and could actually cause more hair loss in that area. I did have some grafts in the crown area but that was just to bulk it out. Your crown looks good though, I would be more than happy if mine turned out like yours, can just imagine how well that area will thicken up over time if it looks that good after just 9 days.

I'm booked in for 2,000-2,500 grafts to strengthen the hairline and slightly close temples. I think I've done everything right - I'm not that young, 35, and my before/after photos have not changed much since starting finasteride in 2018, and my loss is relatively minor compared to most patients I see, NW2 perhaps, and I am booked in with what you guys here seem to commonly refer to as one of the top surgeons in the world, and my surgery goals are not agressive. I have questions, I cannot find the ones searching on these forums:

    1. I've seen a few forum posts of guys who had transplants, but then a few months after the transplant suddenly lose a lot of the rest of their hair, even in something like the crown where they weren't even having work done.  What if I'm one of those guys where surgery kicks my baldness progression into overdrive?

    2. Due to the pandemic, my photos were sent in. I followed Joe Tillman's guide on sending in photos, and I believe the photos I sent were good.  But what happens if I get there and they have a closer look and decide either I haven't lost enough hair, or alternatively, that I am bound to lose much more hair and my goals cannot be achieved.  And this is AFTER I paid the deposit.

I'm 'content' with the way I look right now, and I don't want to ruin it. But at the same time I know I'll be kicking myself later if I don't do this, I wont get the time off again, I really want to. So yeah, scared.

Ahhh I know exactly how you feel. I deliberated about a HT on and off for 5 years, thought of every outcome - good and bad. I think given that you've been taking Fin for a long while before your HT means you won't experience much shock loss, if any.

IF you're a NW2, would it be worth you trying other options before having a HT? There's a lot of options out there. Tbh, if I felt content with my hair, I would not have a HT. Content is good, you can probably stay at baseline for a long time.

Can we see some pics maybe?

@Kruchie thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry you had a terrible experience. Did you try several hair systems?

@Struggle Yeah, I tried many different ones. Some felt and looked great, don't get me wrong. As it turns out, nobody around me actually knew I was wearing one, apart from the select few that I told. It was just the mental side to wearing one that I was not prepared for. I think being a hair stylist myself didn't help, I was extra critical of every single strand of hair on the system, I've done custom cut-ins for people and used to cut my own systems too from time to time but mainly had someone else cut mine whilst I was wearing. IF you decide to go ahead and need any advice, I've got a lot of tips I would share with you.

It's a really big mental shift when you start wearing a system and nothing can prepare you for that.
