  1. I don’t think it was staged either , however the photos you have provided alongside your analysis are admittedly incriminating for the conspiracy theories.
  2. If you’re set on staying put in the UK, I’d look into Dr Reddy - he’s good at making a few grafts go a long way. Otherwise, it would be in your interest for both quality and financial sake, to look further afield. In my opinion 😉
  3. Anywhere between 2000-3000 depending on the surgeon you inquire with. Look at Dr Hasson hairline cases - he would likely dense pack upto 3000 here, given your donor has a sufficient amount of grafts for later on in life. However look at @JDEE0’s thread - similar hair loss , and his surgeon has seemingly cracked it with 2000. Your hair characteristics ultimately play a huge role in determining your graft estimations, as you probably already know . . However there is some variance between doctors. Personally, I’d prefer to choose dr’s who aim for lower graft counts, yet higher survival rates. Even if they’re more expensive per graft, you usually make that back up with the lesser grafts used. Where are you based. ?
  4. Why don’t you go get a trischopic exam with a surgeon, and he could give you an exact answer ? It’s pretty impossible for any of us to even attempt to answer, without having any sort of scaling to hand.
  5. I think it’s the fact you’re so adamant that plastic surgery will improve ‘one’s life’. If you look at any study with regards to physical attractiveness and the correlations it has with success in both dating and the professional world, they always conclude and portray that the so called perfect maths never equates to the actual top 1% of people in each of these categories, rather that it is a combination of physical attractiveness and then intangible attributes, traits, wealth, social status, charisma, intelligence, etc. It is also proven time and time again, that perfect maths never produces the most chosen male or female when population samples are asked to rate people based on pure aesthetics - and it is a mixture of having striking or polarising features, dimorphism, and good mathematical ratios. You’re fighting a losing battle, and no matter how you try and justify this to yourself with whatever ROI or choice of lifestyle rationale you want to put forward - a man made, algorithmic aesthetic robot, which is essentially what your plan is proposing to become, won’t achieve your dating and professional goals on its own.
  6. I wouldn’t class laser eye surgery as cosmetic surgery, personally. As for restoring your broken nose - this is more like restoration, as opposed to augmentation - these two key words are very fundamental when considering surgery. It is one thing to restore a feature back to its more youthful, or previous self - which is a lot less indicative of any such psychological issues such as BDD, perfect example being a hair transplant. Augmentation, unless it is a medically determined defect, such as a cleft lip, or due to perhaps a physically altering accident (which would be closer categorised as restoration), is a lot more indicative of psychological health concerns - which is certainly how the theme of this thread comes across. It’s quite disconcerting tbh, and reminds me of an article I came across years ago about online ‘incel’ communities. I would really encourage OP to seek out a psychological assessment rather than worrying about fitting in a hair transplant alongside an array of other seemingly full on surgeries (which on a whole new topic is far from an ideal scenario in terms of a healing and growing perspective in itself). Don’t do it, is my advice.
  7. Work looks clean - I like the design, the hairline and temple points have narrowed forehead considerably.
  8. Your temples have pretty much been completely filled in, and you’re only at 5 Months. I expect you to experience further maturation over the next 3 months, and I would say by month 8-9 you’ll have pretty much the full result.
  9. If you believe in the theory, then go for it, maybe you will have success with it ? All I’m saying is that no doctor has documented an array of before and after results, nor studies to my knowledge that demonstrates it’s effectiveness, let alone justifies the huge price tag, in my mind.
  10. This. Laser therapy won’t do anything for you, and considering the amount of hype these US surgeons give exosomes, they’re amusingly reluctant to share any before and afters of these so called ‘dramatic’ transformations. Total money grab IMO
  11. I think a combination of both. My bro science theory as to how it works from my own anecdotal experience, is that at doses of 5mg, it just seems to give super strength to existing areas of hair on your body, as opposed to growing copious amounts of new hair in new places (although I think this is possible too, however nothing cosmetically terrifying). Which makes sense - because hair on your head is the only hair that is affected by miniaturisation, therefore look at it like this; It will make your chest hair for example grow faster, and thicker. It will do the same to your scalp hair - however this is more impactful, because it effectively repairs the damaged (miniaturised) hair, therefore the cosmetic difference is most significant in this area.
  12. Depends on your country - some countries 2% is prescription only.
  13. If you are genetically predisposed to hair loss, then as of today, finasteride is the only solid FDA approved, tried and tested option to attempt to prevent hair loss - regardless of being on TRT or not. If you do start on TRT, then this will become all the more important (if preventing hair loss is a priority) as your elevated levels of testosterone will inevitably result in higher levels of DHT, should you not be blocking the enzyme that reduces testosterone into DHT.
  14. Have you got any pre op pics that aren’t shaved down (how you would wear your hair normally) ?
  15. It’s still early days, but I can definitely already see and feel a difference in my head hair - whether that is because previous miniaturised hairs have now became thicker, or new hairs have grown, or maybe a combination of both . . I don’t know, but I was pretty heavily miniaturised throughout a narrow NW5 pattern, and now my density already looks more full. I took 2.5mg in the morning for 6 weeks, and then I started to take 2.5mg in the morning, and 2.5mg in the evening (so 5mg daily) from 6 weeks up until now, which is soon to be 16 weeks as of tomorrow. I have noticed a lot of small hairs crop up on my hairline , however unsure whether they are new, or whether they were just resting hairs that have been pushed into the Anagen phase.
  16. Do you have any pictures of your donor area, particularly the areas of your concern, prior to surgery?
  17. Yea I did, but not as much. From my experience so far, it just seems to have increased the coarseness and growth rate of hair in areas that I already had hair, for the most part.
  18. Watch the MPMD video on the dutasteride twins
  19. I’ve experienced coarser chest and abdomen hair, coarser beard hair, thicker eyebrows, longer eyelashes . . very small hairs on the temples which are more like an extension of the eyebrows, but are barely visible. Hairs on the back of my fingers, more back and shoulder hair, and the rate lf hair growth seems faster too. The only unwanted hair for me, is that on my back and shoulders , which I have shaved lff weekly, and I just trimmed my hands and fingers with my clippers the other day. I do think I experienced some temporary weight gain when I upped the dosage for the first 2-4 weeks, which has now subsided, that was quite interesting. Other than that, all positive 😀
  20. Personally, my heart rate has stayed exactly the same, as has my BP - however I made sure to consult with 2x cardiologists beforehand, and discussed my intention, which I would highly recommend everyone to do so. I take 2x 2.5mg generic tabs a day. For me, the topical would have been inconvenient, greasy, and like you say, the scalp degradation theory as mentioned by Hasson, wouldn’t be great for future surgeries, potentially?
  21. Haha - the hypertrichosis is certainly real, but fortunately nothing extreme so far in my case.
  22. I order mine from a pharmacy in Europe - pm me if you’re interested. Thought you were an advocate of topical anyway?
