    I gotcha. Same problem w/ my hairline from previous 2007 surgery. Dense hair, but hairline on the left didn't blend due to sparse hairline. Drove me crazy.

    A graft is a unit. A unit can consist of 1-4 hairs (usually).

    Why don't you try dutasteride (avodart). propecia is weak compared to this. propecia gave out after 4 yrs. avodart has been going strong for 6+ yrs. w/o showing signs of losing its effectiveness.

    I know some clinics recommend you discontinue rogaine several months prior to surgery. Something about skin irritation.

    You sure side-stepped a landmine there. I would make a list of several docs listed and that has patients on this board you can talk to. And don't let travel have any determination on your decision. I can't stress that enough.

    Never heard of him. His prices seem compared to top-notched docs, except I've NEVER heard of your guy. Your head, you have to live with it, so same prices for unknown result or same price for coalition doc. (downside is travel. reimbursed travel fare (usually)). It seems everyone from the UK is traveling across the pond for HT. This should tell you something!

    I always buy generic dutasteride (dr. reddy's). avodart eliminates the alpha red. 2, so proscar would be redundant. This place has never let me down in the several years I've been ordering.

    I'd like to see the hairline of the 3,288 fu patient first. Why didn't the doc just raise the hair, knowing this is the area of greatest importance.

    Don't know anything about him, but your going in the right direction w/ proper research. Don't just accept what the clinics give you, find actual patients posting their results as well. This is how to make the best well-rounded decision that you will ultimately have to live with.

    I had the same reaction in the back/sides where hair loss normally doesn't occur from MPB. it's temporary and will grow back. Propecia works, have you considered proscar and dividing into 4 pieces. cost 1/4 the price and exact same thing as propercia. Talk to your doc about it.

    Density refers to the # of fu's per cm2. word is one doesn't notice hairloss until one loses more than 50% of their hair in a given area. unlike fullness where hair characteristics come into play. density only refers to the amount of fu's/cm2. non-hairloss density in caucasians is normally 90-120 cm2, so 50% would mean the doc transplanted roughly 45 fu/cm2.
