  1. That's what I'm afraid of that's why i want my hairs to thicken because once MPB starts again I could at least catch it if they are thick again, so I really need that to happen.
  2. Well Propecia stops hair loss in about 90% of people so it wasn't that big of a surprise it would happen! You see I have a lot of miniaturized hairs at the front, if only like half of them would thicken up I would look great I don't need new hairs regrowing. You think there's still a chance for this to happen?
  3. That's right I'm 9 1/2 months into Propecia 1mg a day treatment and everything is about the same since I started. I just have early frontal loss all I needed was some thickening of miniaturized hairs and that would give me a way fuller look. I'm 22 1/2 years and started Propecia only like 4 months or so after I noticed I'm losing hair so I had a high chance for reversal but now it looks slim!
  4. I know Propecia may be slowing my balding but I want it to stop it for at least 5 years like for most men! Slowing just not good enough and I'm unsure about Avodart.
  5. Well Propecia is much more powerful then Rogaine, I don't think Rogaine would help too much and btw Rogaine = Pain! It's way too much work and hassle even if you are desperate to save your hair, it's for people with a lot of nerve and patience!
  6. I know I still have a lot of hair rite now but I'm moving up to a NW3 and that won't be pretty.
  7. Reflex hyperandrogenicity is a very rare thing if it exists at all, it's only known online lol but things do happen. You could have TE or your MPB is getting worse despite Propecia. The only way to know is to go to a doctor that's all I can say. And to know if your MPB is getting worse you should have a miniaturization test done.
  8. I'm 22 1/2 years old with early frontal hair loss, rite now I'm a NW2 though. I'm into Propecia treatment for 8 1/2 months now. Anyways for the first 5 months everything looked the same then on month 6 I noticed some thickening and I believed the effects were going to show from then on. A few weeks later I suddenly noticed a little loss but wasn't too concerned back then. On month 8 I noticed a slight bit of loss again. And now on month 9 I noticed very little loss on my temples (there were some short weak hairs but they fell out). I know thickening/regrowth takes time but I'm pretty damn sure my hair loss should've stopped by now!! Please help me, I'm very depressed and scared and don't know what to do.

  10. There is people that have a NW2, straight or even juvenile hairlines but only bald in the crown or somewhere else. The only thing that matters is where the hairs are genetically sensitive but the DHT sensitivity is everywhere the same even the temples! It's just that many people start to bald in the front first like hairline recession but like I said not always. And if you have early frontal loss like me and where most of the hair is there just miniaturizing and you are young Propecia has a high chance of working there.
  11. Actually it is just as effective in the front as anywhere else, DHT causes hair to die and the same is happening in the front as in the crown so the effect should be the same in stopping the loss but reversing can be harder in the front because hair there is usually gone fast while in the crown there is a long period of miniaturization. The only doc I guess I can ask for avodart is a transplant doc but I bet he will say only after one year on Propecia so I don't know what to do.
  12. I had a topic here earlier about me and you guys told me clearly to give it a year on Propecia but today I'm exactly 7 months and 10 days into treatment and I saw a tiny bit of loss near the tip of my forelock and that's the spot where I had a little results after 5 months! I also noticed another little loss of hair at around 5 months in my forelock but back then I thought it was ok. Now I'm really stressing! I know the hair loss should stop by 6 months, can anyone explain this to me? I know sometimes Propecia only slows down hair loss but like everyone else I want it to stop!

  14. So toppik is too much for the hairline huh? Even if I use their hairline optimizer that they are selling that you put on the bottle?
