  1. This is not a bad thing because you were eventually gonna wind up a Norwood 7 anyways, you just did it in a very short time. The good news is you can now go straight to transplants. I am not gonna lie to you, your donor is not great. You also have a sloping scalp which means more territory needs to be covered. Here's my advice. Go with 1 or 2 FUT's and try to work the front hairline as high as possible. Leave the crown for now and wait and see how those 1 or 2 FUT's grow in. If you get a good result do the crown afterwards using a partial scalp/beard hair transplant. If I were you I would forget about Hasson or Huber and go straight to Dr. Cotterrill. He's located in Toronto and does FUT for a flat fee of $5000 with no added costs. His results are pretty good. See here: You have at least a 2 to 3 year journey ahead of you. Start ASAP because the longer you wait the more time you waste. I wish you all the best!!
  2. Dr. Huber is Dr. Jones' sidekick at his Oakville, Ontario clinic. I would say his results are about the same as Dr. Jones' results
  3. This is true!! PFS is very real because it happened to me as well. I was very lucky though, my PFS went away after a couple of months after I stopped taking FIN. But others are not so lucky, they suffer from it for the rest of their lives
  4. Not every clinic can, but some can do it. Check with your clinic and ask them before you book your appointment. Also make sure to see their before & after results on patients with gray hairs
  5. If you dont have a bit of anxiety right before a transplant then you're not human
  6. When people say just shave it, bro. I always respond with, can I grab hair clipper and shave all your hair off right now?? That almost always gets a negatory response. If you were to threaten any woman with I'm going to give you a buzzcut right now, they would head for the exit door pretty quick 😂
  7. You can get them on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=travel+pillow&ref=nb_sb_noss_2 This is the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/MLVOC-Comfortable-Breathable-Washable-Contoured/dp/B082K8ZNQ1/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=travel+pillow&qid=1636754794&sr=8-1 I like it because you can tie the ends together so it cannot slip off
  8. I had a pretty good transplant from dr. Jones. Are you doing FUE or FUT??
  9. Dr. Cotterill (also one of the cheapest) Dr. Jones Dr. Rahal
  10. Month 12 update. I still have stubble popping through. So far I'm quite happy with the result. Especially when I probably have 6 more months of growing left
  11. Should have zero effect on the outcome of your HT. Might even help it since it contains amino acids
  12. But make sure you read this link carefully, people: https://www.blogto.com/travel/2021/10/us-border-opening-rules/ Because you wanna make sure you have all your ducks in a row before you head north
  13. The best time to get your transplant is during a 2-week vacation away from work. Just take 2 weeks off, watch Netflix movies at home and relax for a bit. Thats how I did it.
  14. Canada just announced they will open up the US border in about 3 weeks from now. You have to show proof of vaccination though. Read more: https://www.blogto.com/travel/2021/10/us-border-opening-rules/
  15. The US has now opened their borders to all vaccinated people. I'm guessing Canada will probably follow suit soon enough: https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/12/politics/us-travel-restrictions-canada-mexico-fully-vaccinated/index.html
  16. Butter chicken is good too. I also like Satay in peanut sauce. I'm surprised you didnt go sightseeing, but I guess Covid restrictions probably played a part
  17. Just a FYI for anyone going to India, you cannot take Rupees out of the country when you leave: https://inshorts.com/en/news/foreigners-cant-take-indian-rupee-outside-india-1465135392014
  18. So your donor sucks, but you have great sidebanks. My advice is the same with the other guy I previously posted. Work around your forelock, and fill in the blanks with partial scalp/beard hair
  19. I have to agree with the others, your donor is poor. However, your sidebanks are excellent, and if they stay stable you might be able to get a good result using part scalp hair and part beard hair. Your frontal area would have to moved backwards though, because its too close to the forehead. So I would do something like this (see pic). You should be done with 1 or 2 FUE's and you will most likely have to forget about the crown. Just dont give up hope man, I know what a bitch hairloss can be!!
