4000 grafts and my doctor said it was basically all 3s and 4s. you can see how incredibly thick, coarse and wavy my hair is. I was expecting spectacular results -
still not seeing much of anything. I think my hairline is a little better but crown and midscalp still looks about the same. I had a huge amount of hairs transplanted (12-13,000) and my hair is incredibly thick/coarse AND wavy. Every surgery I see on people with my hair type results in spectacular results (I have hair similar to Indians). I'm a NW3V with very high sides. What would you guys do if you were me? Is it normal for growth to start at 5 month mark?

I'm struggling to stay patient you guys

ok thanks for encouragement did you have very drastic results? -
my friend's dad is 50 and he literally has a wreath of hair that's like an inch long on the sides and his crown is even further dipped. I would legitimately say 90% of his head is totally bald We should almost call that a Norwood 8 I would say this man has a lot less hair than even Steve Ballmer. Probably a good inch lower on the sides
-
would this be considered a norwood 6 or a norwood 7? His sides still look decently high. I thought norwood 7 was very low sides?

If I had a surgery at very end of June, does that mean the current month is 5th month or 4th month? technically end of this month would make it exactly 5 months and I'm just not seeing anything. I was told by my doctor (Mr Richard Keller ) to expect possibly the most drastic results of all time due to my wavy, coarse, super thick hair, supreme donor density and the large amount of grafts (nearly 4000). I was told almost all my grafts were 3s and 4s For you guys who have had surgery done, what month did you start to see drastic results?

Is Hair Transplant is Profitable in India?
AnalogFeel replied to karankumar12's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
the reason most indian hair transplants look excellent is because most indian men have very thick, dense hair A halfway decent surgeon working on an indian man will get better results than the best surgeon in the world working on white client with thin/fine hair. So yes, if you can go to any decent reputable surgeon in India and you're the typical Indian male with very thick, coarse, dense hair, you will get fantastic results -
actually looking at it again, I realized what it is He has a narrow area of balding. His sides are very high and his head surface is fairly small. I think he also has tremendous thickness/coarseness and donor density like most asian men do. That plus obvious surgeon skill - the hairline is especially excellent Most indian/asian transplants look fantastic as long as the gentleman is not a norwood 7 because of the hair traits. anything in the NW3-5 range looks spectacular most of the time

how does 10K hairs get this kind of tremendous density and coverage? does the gentleman have tremendous hair thickness? I've seen transplants with 15K hairs not look half as impressive

Doc those are spectacular results considering it's 3600 grafts and the balding area is very significant. The crown density now is pretty amazing does this patient have tremendous donor density and very coarse hair? What would you say contributes to such a significant difference with only 3600 grafts?

guys keep in mind OP has a very big crown area to cover and a lot of it is very bald that's a legit pattern 6 bald spot - you can clearly see 6 pattern forming -

OP do you have fine hair? If you have fine hair, keep in mind 3000 grafts really isn't much in terms of coverage unfortunately, especially in crown area. I know we harp on surgeon skill a lot around here but hair traits are probably the #1 aspect to getting a good transplant I'm also a little confused because the pics he posted show a significant difference overall, but your pics are much less impressive. Why do you think this is?
