  1. Very very very frustrated - my crown is still bald as hell despite my doctor telling me he put nearly 3000-4000 hairs in the area (and I have super thick hair so that's like someone with avg thickness getting 8000 hairs put in crown) first 2 are old pics - next few are pics from today
  2. I don't know if I would really consider this a terrible result His crown was enormous and nearly slick bald. He has lot a ton in the middle there also His crown looks way less bald after the surgery and you're not going to go from a NW6 to a NW3 with 1 transplant anyways
  3. how is that a norwood 7? his sides are still pretty high I thought norwood 7 was super low sides?
  4. Doc his results are fantastic but you didn't post any clear pre op photos he looks much better than a Norwood 5 before the surgery- looks more like a NW2. Is 5 just his family pattern?
  5. my coworker was a norwood 1 at 48 and has started massively shedding hair in his 50s you never know
  6. there has been really zero growth in my view which is why I'm not posting pics
  7. i have identical hair texture to that gentleman What else is there beyond hair traits and donor density, both of which I was told I was in elite range by my doc?
  8. 4000 grafts maybe with avg hair thickness and avg density. I have probably double avg hair thickness and 30% better than the avg donor density (my yield was around 3 hair per grafts and I've been told avg is more like 2) this is 2800 grafts with a huge crown area - significantly worse than mine and he's got great density
  9. Did you lose everything or at least have that heavily balding NW6-7 pattern by your late 20s?
  10. my crown still feels very bald my doc told me he transplanted 1000 grafts (and all 3s and 4s) - which is roughly 3500 hairs in the crown. I figured it would be damn near total coverage
  11. I haven't talked to him Is this strictly a time thing? has there ever been a transplant by an excellent doctor with a huge amount of very thick hair transplanted with such a poor yield?
  12. i posted pics before literally the same. I see zero difference I had 12 13K of the thickest hair imaginable transplanted. Why am I not seeing a huge difference? I have super thick hair like you see in asians
  13. 5.5 months now, still not seeing much I'm starting to get very worried guys
  14. okay Sorry, I'm going crazy because I feel like the surgery resulted in some shock loss...so the fact that I look worse than previous is very scary
  15. I posted pictures of guys who had very similar hair texture to me who had transplants done who all had spectacular results How many NW7 guys are here? prolly less than 10%. Most are in situation very similar to me
  16. I've been takings pics and they all look the same, no difference
  17. 4k grafts which are almost all 3s and 4s on a man with extremely thick, coarse, wavy hair should product spectacular results especially considering my high sides
  18. the doctor put in hairs all over my scalp the dry pics are a little misleading- it looks very patchy cause my hair is so curly so it tends to curl up into patches and leaves an area looking very bald. If you see my hair wet, I've just lost a good amount all over - the crown is by far the worst i don't know if i really had a ton of native hair. My hair is very very thick so it makes it look higher density than it really is
  19. all his results on men with hair texture like mine has been incredibly drastic - which is why I picked him i would argue both those men are more bald than me and they only had around 2800-3200 grafts done. I had 4K grafts done so you can see why I'm expecting the best results in hair transplant history
  20. there's just no way that a guy like me who gets 13000 hairs transplanted, hair that is extremely thick/coarse/wavy, from a very good doctor is not going to have fantastic results right?
