7.5 Month Update ..!!
Wow Time Flies..!!
Apologies for the late update !!!
No update for 2 months
Here are my observations till now :-1) Super happy with my front hairline😀..looks very natural..
Having done my reasearch on the forum i knew exactly what to expect..Not so happy with my temples😑 ..I had a lot of small hair pre surgery so i was told by Dr Priyadarshini that she couldn't add more hair without damaging existing ones ..looks a bit sparse..( Also since my natural hair calibre is thinner and i am fair skinned )
Though there are a lot of small hairs on the temples.. they dont come along in a well defined shape.2) Transplated hair are curlier as they grow in length..since they are thinner and less dense..lets see if they change after a full hair cycle (1.5 yrs)
3) Harsh lights are the enemy of Transplated hairs..🙂 They looked sparse at 6 th month mark but have greatly improved at 7th month..
4) As long as i am not directly under very harsh indoor lights, my hairline looks really great.( I knew this so i was prepared) . Hopefully it improves over time as the hair gets denser till 1 to 1.5 yrs
But hair looks great under direct sunlight ..
Coming from no hairline and constant combover to a natural hairline which i can style in confidence..i am very pleased😀
Haven't been to the clinic so dont have super hi res pics
Posting some pics from my beach vacation 🙂 ..Also posting some with wet hair !!
Looking fantastic and you still have 4-5 months to even get better, wow!!!
Beautiful hairline, really natural. Love it! Congratulations 🤩

Hi guys,
Thought I would post some updates as I am now 13 days post op.
It seems to be healing quite well and I love the hairline. Actually quite like the look as it is!
The sleeping on my back was torture as was the swelling but that is all gone now, so much happier
I will post another update in a couple of weeks time (1 month post op) and try to do one each month thereafter.
Of course, if anyone has any questions feel free to ask!
p.s A special shout out to Ian who works with Dr Bisanga. He has been great since I 1st contacted him, probably a couple of years ago now and is always there if needed. Both him and the rest of the team were fantastic!
This looks superb. Soooo clean, and such a nice hairline design. Bravo Bisanga.
Thanks for sharing. Cant wait to see the evolution and the final result.

Just about 5 months, and had a fresh cut, no product just blow dried. I've notice that the skin under my temporal peak on the left side is still really red, couldn't see it before. My right is fine, so hopefully the left catches up eventually. Still have a weak spot on my right temple, and dead center that are lagging. Took all the photos is harsh direct lighting. Barber took it down to a 0.5. I think it looks ok most places, save for my right side, but open to opinions. Maybe I'll keep it at a 1 just to be safe in the future.
Impressive result at 5 months 😍!
And your donor looks fantastic, like nobody ever got any grafts from it, wow!!!
About the temples, why didnt they cut them the same as the lower area? I think it would even look more beautiful. Or as you said, keep all at 1 next time, would look amazing!
Cant wait to see the final result. Thanks for sharing 😉

Thanks GOAT!
Thank you, John. I appreciate your presence on these boards.
Haha ye! Thanks mate. Followed your journey too, an inspiration for sure.
8 months before procedure. Quit July 2021 due to new gf and maybe trying to start a family. Milder sides on and off.
Thanks man! To be honest I expected a great result. Dangerous, I know, but I can't lie.
I have told my five best friends, noone else knows or have said anything. I was a true master at the combover before procedure.
I will tell you the main difference though; the amount of ladies that give me a second look now is up massively. Not bragging, it's just the reality of having hair.
Just an INSANE come back, Freitas is a genious ... No wonder those ladies are turning around to look at "your hair" 😍 !
Congratulations BB!

Glad I have been of help man. It was indeed an eye opener for me as well that donors could be refilled and I could not be happier.
I own a few businesses. Started some ventures when I was young and fortunately it went well.
Thanks a lot for your reply.
And yes, your experiences are of great help to see that there is much hope nowadays for those suffering alopecia.
Can not wait to see the FINAL MUSTANG REPORT 😎 with all the details about your 15+ procedures!!Best!!!

This 50 year old man presented with a history of multiple failed hair restoration procedures. At a young age he underwent several large-graft plug sessions and a midline scalp reduction. He reported that the majority of the plugs failed to grow and what did grow left him with unnatural patches of pluggy hair. The scalp reduction resulted in an exposed midline crown scar. More recently he gained knowledge about the use of FUE and underwent a large session hoping to enhance his appearance. Unfortunately, the FUE restoration proved to be a failure with no apparent graft survival. Sadly, his scarred and unnatural looking scalp had committed him to a life of wearing a hat or hair piece at all times.
His examination revealed a small zone of plug hair in the right and left frontal hairline. The bald frontal scalp showed evidence of many “empty” or nearly-hairless plugs, as well as a large number of small, hairless scars, these a result of the failed FUE procedure. A midline scalp reduction scar was obvious. The donor area was heavily compromised with extensive scarring demonstrated by multiple four-millimeter circular scars from the past plug harvesting and multiple one-millimeter circular scars from the more recent FUE harvest. Although his donor elasticity was judged adequate for strip harvesting, the classic central donor harvest zone demonstrated moderate to extensive circular scarring, as well as poor quality residual follicular-units, these a result of collateral damage from past plug harvesting and his most recent attempt at an FUE harvest. Fortunately, he revealed good quality hair in the chest and beard regions.
Recommendation for repair was made which proposed use a multi-stage, prioritization plan to restore hair with the frontal region having the highest priority and prioritization decreasing in a front-to-back fashion moving toward the crown. The plan proposed an initial salvage strip harvest in the lax but scarred central donor area, followed by FUE using selective harvesting from scalp areas continuing to have accessible follicular units and supplemental body harvesting from the chest and beard areas.
Presented here is a chronological review of his initial four-stage repair.
Session One - August 2017: 2700 Grafts (2400 Strip / 300 Chest FUE) – Front and Midscalp Placement
Session Two – January 2018: 1550 Grafts (700 Chest FUE / 850 Scalp Temple Region FUE) – Crown Placement
Session Three – July 2018: 1160 Grafts (1160 Scalp FUE) – Front and Midscalp Placement
Session Four – February 2019: 1300 Grafts (900 Scalp Nape Region FUE / 400 Chest FUE) – Temple Points, Left Part and Crown Placement
Postop Final Pics – One year from the final session; two and one-half years from the first session.
Comment:
Grafts harvested from the scalp were deemed lower quality because of the extensive prior harvests causing residual scarring in the central donor region and collateral damage to the remaining follicular-unit donor population. Chest hairs, although considered excellent with respect to texture and color, were predominantly low-caliber, single-hair units. Despite these quality issues, the patient was able to achieve adequate density and coverage such that he now lives a comfortable life without any need for a hair piece or hat. Future restorations using additional chest hair and beard hair are in the making.

This 26 year old came in today for his 6 month follow up after receiving 2000 FUE grafts to his hairline and apex areas. He is stable on finasteride. Although he wore his hair quite a bit shorter before the procedure the general comparison is still valid. All grafts were harvested and placed by the physician.
Love this! Very natural result. Congratulations 😉

Hi there ...
it’s pretty much invisible to the naked eye ..the beard extraction / recovery is a cinch( no signs of any procedure after around 48 hours ) ....you may of noticed I’ve hardly ever referred to the beard element of my HT throughout my journey ..I keep forgetting I had beard work done to be honest
What a fantastic result @Zoomster And many many thanks for such great information and documentation.
Congratulations again and enjoy a lot that new look 😎

Really nice result. Density looks awesome and donor looks like the patient could go for more HT if needed.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

This is the 5 month and 1 week update.
Some major things:
1. I had a lot of shock loss all over, both the donor and the transplanted area. My donor looked *really* bad and I was honestly afraid to show it all here which is why I am so late with the updates. The donor has recovered to a degree but not all the way. I will post the pics of the donor later, it's really annoying to make the pics and then crop to remove the face etc.
2. I had two haircuts so far with the old hair dresser and he uses #1 on the sides and he didn't mention anything looking off, and it doesn't look off also except that it might be a little thinner on the sides than before but that's hard to confirm.
3. Having the hairline that frames your face and seeing that in the mirror is a great feeling and should be talked about more. Yes it could be denser which you can see when you come close but from 5+ feet away, which is usually what you see in the mirror, it looks good and really makes me happy with the decision.
4. The progression was and is still weird. I never noticed the new hair - I thought it was the old hair as there was really not a lot of it and was thin but eventually it I guess grew thicker. So I guess lots of shock loss if those hairs were all new? Also, still no new, additional hairs on the horizon.
Overall I am happy so far but would like more density and I am not sure if that's coming or not.
The pics:
Front - looks good from about 5+ feet away, to the point that it looks like a full head of hair. When you get closer you can see the lack of density.
Top - the area behind the hairline is lacking in density compared to the hairline and it's very obvious here. This doesn't look any better than before the procedure honestly, and might be even worse. I assume it's the shock loss and the majority of hair there is the transplanted hair but who can tell. It's weird how when the hairline is there to frame your face you don't think about what's happening behind it so you don't worry about it as much.
Sides look reasonable I guess:
Let me know what you think!
That is looking very good. A little slow compared with other cases but you still have another 7 months to get the the 1 year result.
The design is awesome and the donor looked really nice.
Thanks for sharing. Keep us posted 😉

That new hairline is looking really good.
Crown will take a lot more time so be patient. How is the beard area? And the donor? Could you share some photos?
