Great review, nice work!
The only thing you left out is your age..
Will be following your progress, happy growing!

Looks great man! Like you never had undergone a procedure let alone a mere 10-days ago.
New year new growth to ya!
-
Hey man, any progress/update on your case?
-
The first pic with your hair combed forward definitely does not look flattering, the 2nd one you posted with hair swept back looks much better and looks like you got a nice result.

Work looks fantastic!
I love how you were blunt and to-the-point with your questions to the doctor and his staff, you are the patient and spendings thousands of $ and have every right to be no matter the reputation of the clinic, it shows a well-informed and knowledgeable patient. Looking forward to following your progress! Happy growing!

Very nice result! Great density too.

Looks nice, but more grafts should have been added to improve density in results.

Hey man, looks good and well packed, although, to be honest it looks from your photos like much more than 2,300 grafts for such a large area covered, is 2,300 true?

Hi, i'm back from Asmed and yes they use new needles with vibrations, less pain, no need to worry now about anesthetic at Asmed, i felt pain only behind ears. I think they have all the new technology on the market and the clinic looks amazing just not enough words for the way it looks, very clean and lovely staff
Good to know, do you have a progress thread of your own to fallow?

Thank you! yes while still having a decent density on top and crown, with plenty of perfect donor hair then why not! Its more affordable and great surgeons and clinics around and I found the best one for me! Defiantly wouldnt have gone abroad for it.
Look forward to seeing you on Instagram.
Have you had a hair transplant or considering?
mike
Great!
Considering...done but still doing a ton of research.

Good for you man, taking action when you have the ability, resources and support to do so is 50% of the battle, you look older in the above photo than you do now and that’s great!
Will check out your Instagram, thanks.

While agree the results are impressive, this community demands accountability. Now I’m not saying this particular doctor doesn’t want to be held accountable, but there have been some doctors withdraw their participation requests because they may be held accountable publicly. This is why choosing a doctor that participates in this community is important. There is a recourse for dissatisfied patients. Not every result will be a success regardless of the surgeon, it’s good to have peace of mind in regards to actual recourse.
I get what @JeanLDD is saying and it’s understandable if that’s Dr Couto’s reasons, but I definitely agree that accountability and patient recourse it highly important than nicely produced YouTube videos.

4 year waiting list. No reason to pay for a recommendation listing when the marketing isn't needed.
True, makes sense.
Although...I think he (Couto) should do it anyway, help support the community a bit, I don’t really see it as “marketing” I see this form more as a way propel good advice good surgeons leading to good results, but business is business I guess.
-
Nice results. Good for you man!
Have any before and after pics of the top/crown area to share?

Hey Bill,
Why isn’t Dr Couto a recommended surgeon?...he has a plethora of fantastic results.
thanks.

On-the-one-hand I agree with the mods, it’s not necessary to joke about a patients mediocre-at-best result as they may be on here as well, being respectful AND critical are NOT mutually exclusive.
On-the-other-hand the results are mediocre-at-best, as seems to be the norm with ARTAS, and it doesn’t help any for prospective patients doing research for a procedure to think that this is an acceptable result especially for the high price, which, I’m willing to bet that clinics and doctors that market it heavily are aiming to recoup the hundreds of thousands of $ they invested in this “high-tech” robot and likely regret it.
So let’s be honest, expecting ARTAS to produce good HT results compared to hands-on human technique and artistry, is like using a Roomba to vacuum your entire home instead of you and a Dyson and expecting a proper cleaning.
