  1. Here they are, I hope the files have been uploaded properly, if not I'll check again. Diffuse alopecia very noticeable from the front under this kind of light but also from above and serious receding hairline. My hair has always been thin though, probably because I'm fair. Not sure if I would require more grafts because of that. What surgery options would be best for me? Is FUE the best surgery option? How many grafts (approximately) would I require just by seeing the photos?
  2. Thanks! He is in Istanbul, right? My receding hairline is more or less like yours was, but I also have diffuse alopecia on all the upper side of my scalp, not sure if you had this because it looks like you only had receding hairline in the photos. Did you have surgery done anywhere else or hairline only? My hair is thin but not because of alopecia but has always been thin since I was a kid, because I'm fair likely, so is yours? Not sure if fair/blond people need more grafts because we have thinner hair?
  3. I also would like to know how to contact Dr Lorenzo.
  4. Hey, nice FUE results. I am thinking of getting this done. Can you tell us how many grafts and price? My case could be similar to yours I think. How long did you stay there in case you had to travel? I would have panicked like you but the end was a happy one, just a few months of insecurities and uncertainty is worth it. I think I would post my experience like you did because not only you feel comforted by other people but help people too. EDIT: I also get bad sex (generally) as a side effect of finasteride so I wonder can we stop taking it after surgery? I've been taking it since I was 20, I am 35 now and I would love to dismiss it but I'm not sure if it's a good idea for my hair. EDIT 2: OK so it was 1664 grafts 1.25 euro each. Do you know how long is the waiting list? Can you wear a cap or something after your scalp healed (two weeks) to hide the bald spots before it grows up? EDIT 3: How do I contact this doctor?
  5. Thanks for the replies. Basically, I have a very noticeable receding hairline and poor density overall but no bald spots. The profile photo is me but I might post more. I remember reading years ago about the many methods but I don't know what has changed over the years. I would like to know what surgery methods are best for my problem and what doctors are good in Europe (where I am from) or I could travel to New York or Miami too (because of work I might travel to those cities). Once I get surgery on my head done will I be able to stop taking finasteride? It's been around fifteen years now and I was wondering if I could stop. I asked about Turkey because where I live I have heard of them but not sure myself, just want to know what doctors are good and perhaps ask more than a few in Europe/New York/Miami and how much do they charge approximately.
  6. Hi, I'm new in here. I am 35 years old. I suffer from androgenic alopecia since I was 19 or 20. I didn't do anything about it because I didn't know what to do until a few years later I read about finasteride and minoxidil and started using them and I think it kind of slowed it down, but my hair density and thickness and the receding hairline have become worse over the years. Now I would like to know what kind of surgery and at what level/amount is best for me. I live in Western Europe and I have heard that there are good doctors in Turkey so is it true and do you recommend me going there? Thank you, Ben
