  1. Post better pictures. Preferably pulling your hair back gently enough to expose the hairline but not flatten the hair. I can see your concern. Front looks see through around an inch in.
  2. This forum cracks me up, always the old heads telling young nw3s they don't need to touch there hairline. I had my first surgery at 23, and was in the same position as yourself. Rahal put 2300 grafts on to my entire frontal third. If you are stabilized with medocatiom.and willing to vomit to life long treatment then hair restoration isna reasomable. However, if you are not willing to take finasteride then it would be a big mistake to undergo restoration. Expect to need additional work on the future People seem to.forgrt that having a nw3 on your teenage years and early twenties is not the same as being fourty. It's a crippling feeling jodomg behind a comb over and low.self.esteem.while everyone else your age is living freely. Get it done, and be that person you want to be. Message me if you want to talk to someone who's been through the ropes and has suffered baldness since an early.teenager. I can provide you a better insight
  3. The redness impacted me for a couple months, afterwards the pines lasts around 5-7 months before my skin matches native density. It can be frustrating but your skin is healing from where you started from Doctors should stop misleading people with this whole idea that post red inflammation is gone within a month. Absolute bullshit. Most people with fair skin can expect a few months at minimum before the skin looks presentable. In your case I would recommend make up. I used a 3 in 1 foundation for a few months post operation. Helps tremendously.
  4. normal. IT takes me six months before this pinkness goes away. Have very fair skin. At 4 months, and it still looks very pink.
  5. At 7 days you can start gently massaging the scalp in a circular motion to get rid of the scabs Lather soap and gently massage
  6. It's fine to use the over head shower after a few days. Block the pressure with your hand if you feel it's to atrong.
  7. Make up and dermmatch once the hair develops length.
  8. Smp fades and bleeds no diffrent then any other tatoo. If anything is even more prone since your scalp is alwaus ezposed to the sun and its free radicals. would be in your best interest to get anotber thansplant to add any additional density. Been in your position and the only real solution is to add more hair in the long run .
  9. I am realistic based on expectations and results from personal experience. Take what I said for what's it's worth but expect to have to undergo two surgeries back to back for enough density to replicate your native hairline. Which is healthy, and will not match a hair transplant in density at one pass.
  10. Expect to need am additional transplant to go over the same area. Essentially transplanting on a bald head behind a healthy hairline. It will look like see through pubes after your first trano plant. I would advise against this, but ultimately it's your decision. Based on experience
  11. I believe surgeon comoet3nncy along with your own bodies response have a lot to do with the outcome. First two surgeries with rahal most my hearts fell out by three weeks, and by the fourth was all out. Third procedure with a Turkish surgeon known as ekrem give, and I would say 50% of the hearts continues to grow, while the remaining fell out. Surprisingly enough, almost all the hearts remained at the hairline, while the rest fell out. Prior surgeries all addressed the frontal third. From my exp3rienc3 I believe graft handling and placement latterly determines whether you shed or not. Seeing how my first two procedures I shed everything, while the third I kept a large amount. However the templ3 points all shed in every surgery.
  12. Nothing wrong with the tramsplant result. Thin hair requires more transplants for coverage.
  13. Great in depth video illustrating everything that I went through as a fine hair patient. I went from half to situational thinning after 2200 graft on a nw3. Had to go under the knife for an additional thousand at the front to give me adequate coverage. As someone with fine hair one transplant is never enough.
  14. Should be no ecause for concern outside of being within a bad situation of the ugly duckling phase. Takes me six months to completely have matching skin similirities. That pink tinge tends to longer around for awhile. Redness is usually gone by three half months. 3 weeks is bullshit. Go stand under a florescent light and tell me it's not pink/red at 3 weeks.
  15. His fut was never 4 dollars. It cost me 4.35 in 2013, and around 4.45 in 2016
  16. The best practice is to let your body naturally heal, and do it's thing. Rest of these potions, and ointments are all a complete colossal waste of time. Continue your normal daily routine which involves showering, sweating and being pro-active. Wear a hat when you go outside.
  17. You will need around 7000-8000 grafts split into 2 procedures. FUT. Fue simply wont be able to harvest enough for your scalp. donor area looks good.
  18. I had temple closure, and temple point restoration with Rahal. results came out perfect. A lot of 1 grafts are required.
  19. I have never seen any of these turkish surgeons show afters of an African patient. Dr. Diep comes to mind with a proven track record of having success with afro male hair transplants
  20. In short, no. I have yet to read a surgeon disclose that concealers can inhibit natural, and transplanted hair growth. In fact they all recommend it during the ugly duckling phase.
  21. To be completely honest, smp is absolute crap. All tattoos bleed out, maitenance and having to deal with colour contrast issues in the future. A lot of the time they have a blue^green tinge once they settle and deal with sun damage. Essentially you will need to cover up around the sun, as snobs no different then wearing a hair piece. Restrictions and the sun ruins it. A lot of the time it doesn't look good unless you are dark coloured due to contrast differences. Will need to putore effort in keeping the sides and back shaved so you don't have a horse shoe appearance. As the sides and back are more dense and strong in pigmentation then the top. Hair transplants or shaving
  22. eh, if you cannot handle finasteride then its not in your best interests to have a hat with diffuse loss. especially at such a young age. I had my first transplant at 23, but was a good responder to finasteride
  23. Both are great doctors, but personally I would go with Rahal if you live within North America. They have some of the best patient care I have experienced as a former a patient. For FUT - Rahal FUE - Lupanzula
