  1. Gofundme for your legal bills so we can put this guy out of business permanently?
  2. It looks like you improved since the 9 month mark but the pics aren't exactly the same under the same lighting. All in all for the number of grafts done you should be quite happy you got a good result and could always go back for more if need be. When you are having your whole frontal third and hairline rebuilt you should consider yourself extremely lucky that you only have the minor criticism of wanting ~500 grafts for added density!
  3. Gotta be honest mate you aren't the best candidate. IF you are going to even attempt to go the HT route there are prob only a couple DRs I'd trust with a case like yours. What is your budget? What kind of expectations do you have?
  4. Ya i think you need temple points man they are key in framing the face and yours are nonexistent atm. Always looks weird when a guy has a great hairline with no temple points. Usually a sign of an HT patient or a wig wearer.
  5. Who was your doctor? Have you brought your concerns to him, and if so what did he say? FUE into your donor with other donor hair (if you have enough) or body/beard hair + smp are potential options to help.
  6. If you're def set on FUE and looking to do the most possible with the amount of grafts available, I'd try a consult with Dr Lorenzo. He's usually up for a challenge and also takes body hair. Takes 3-4 weeks to hear back after you do the online consult though so keep that in mind.
  7. Bisanga I believe scores all and extracts some of the grafts + does incisions then techs implant. Erdogan just does incisions. Lorenzo does incisions and implantation simultaneously with implanter pen. Not sure about Feridini. Lupanzula does extractions incisions then techs implant. Kesser does everything. May not be fully accurate so anyone else feel free to correct. Consistency and quality of results being produced should be the #1 thing you look for as Drs have their respective reasons for playing the roles they do. Their involvement def gives extra piece of mind though.
  8. With the extent of your hairloss at your young age I would be hesitant to go down the HT route as it would be a long and stressful one for you. If you are fine wearing a wig then I think that is a great idea for you man, just find a really good one you like.
  9. Guarantee doesn't mean much imo. We've all known of ppl who got 'guarantees' but when you get butchered you generally don't want to go back to the same person. Why would you? What happens is you get a full refund on the condition you can never mention it publicly. If you care about your donor and expect you're going to need a lot of grafts long term, get the guarantee idea our of your head. I guess if you are on a budget and don't mind wasting lots of grafts potentially then I understand why you would want a guarantee. Think about if from the Drs perspective. The 'guarantee' is a great marketing tool for them to attract more patients: Worst case they have to do a touch up or refund the person on the condition they don't mention it publicly. Not much risk on their end.
  10. Wrong. You send in your pictures and info, he gets back to you in 3-4 weeks, and from there you can book for 5-6 months or get in pretty easily on a cancellation. Did you just call and ask for an in person or skype consult or somthing and they told you 5-6 months?
  11. Not true at all dude. Spoke to them weeks ago and the wait was 5-6 months but I got offered multiple short notice dates as time went on. Just gotta have some patience. fml555 you should def not make your decision based on wait times. Make a short list of a few doctors you are really keen on, book dates in the future if they offer refundable deposits (most do) and have them keep you posted on short notice dates and there is a very high change you will get one (multiple Drs that I booked 6 months in advance offered me short notice (1-2 months) dates. Worst case you get a Dr you like in 6 months but chances are you get in on a cancellation.
  12. If their is uncertainty with finasteride in the long term that is just another reason to avoid FUTs
  13. ya fortune i looked at your log and 1) your hair looks pretty damn good considering age and never taking propecia until recently 2) would way rather be in your spot then fully bald 3) if you had taken propecia earlier you would have even better hair
  14. fortune11, according to your bio 4600 grafts were used on your hairline and frontal third. IMO that is too much and I know for myself as someone who is young and plans for worst case scenerios I would consider that bad planning and not conservative enough based on age and potential future progression. Look at H&W FUT or Lorenzo FUE and see how much solid coverage can be achieved by 5000+ grafts. Def worth it if done properly. But I agree young ones should really proceed with caution when it comes to 'dense pack' hairlines and the such.
  15. jjsrader you got FUT so obviously the prospect of eventually losing eveything and having to shave is a lot worse than those who got FUE from a DR with good skill and donor management. Thanks for sharing your experience though
  16. Bro read the graph properly lol those people are still above baseline and thats not even the 10year study. You shouldn't expect to keep your 'gains' on finasteride, but clinical evidence is clear that a majority stay above baseline. We still have to prepare for the event that we are a minority case that isn't so lucky so be proactive and do everything you can. Using all your grafts with FUE, going to a great doc who gives a solid yield, potentially throwing in some smp etc and at the very least having some great full head years followed by some less than perfect ones is WAY better than just getting rekt.
  17. Definitely do not to FUE unless you are willing to go on finasteride. Even then FUT + Fin is your best bet.
  18. Really good for 5 months bro I think you may be on track for a home run result. Crazy donor too, I imagine you're in the top percentile of total # of grafts available over a lifetime.
  19. I used betamethasone a couple times a week for over a year, all over my scalp, and overall it had a positive effect on my hair (mostly by reducing dry/flakes etc brought on by stating other topical treatments). However I recall reading a study where topical steroids can quickly phase your hairs out of the anagen stage and it freaked me out so I stopped. Also the main benefits were just from scalp health and making minox pentrate better, outside of that I think they are actually harmful to hair growth. I wouldn't mess with them post HT. Hydro at the most if scalp is in bad shape but I'd be super paranoid using strong steroids like clobestosal on the recipient area post HT Also guys on the private forums experimented with steroids, calcipitriol (psoriases med) and tretinoin for hair growth and they were virtually all useless. All of the hair growth benefits from studies that included them were in adjunct to minox use or on patients with alopecia areata or some other inflammatory condition. I say let the skin heal by itself post HT, the follicle is more at risk by some strong roid penetrating the skin then just letting the outer layer of the skin flake and be red.
  20. If you're willing to travel to Canada, why not just go to Europe? You will get the same or better quality as US/CAN but for a better price.
  21. If you wear your hair long just to FUT man. Can do a nice big session with either doc and you will be golden. FUE less of a sure thing given all the details you've provided imo.
  22. It's one of those things where you gotta ask yourself is it really worth the risk? I'm not sure if 5g daily would really have much of an impact, but considering you are young, had significant loss and got an HT, and are not even on finasteride, I wouldn't even touch it if it was just a couple grams in your preworkout. I have heard way too many anecdotal stories including my own about it having negative hair effects. Just stick to the whey and BCAAs bro! If you feel like you need a boost look into peptides/sarms (or even certain gear that is hair safe to use while on fin).
  23. I'd avoid creatine just in general. Definitely feel it accelerated my loss at the time and I've heard many other anecdotal reports that its increased shedding, sped up loss etc It is def a controversial subject whether it causes/contributes to MPB though. Here is the lone study that put me off it for good: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19741313 Keep in mind those are real high doses, but if you have aggressive hairloss I still wouldn't mess with it.
