  1. I think it will start to be more of a thing in the near future for women to do. Wigs have been so popular for years that I feel like now with how advanced the practice has been for men, that women will become more curious as well. Granted I think with wigs or having a multitude of hair style to cover a receding hairline is a huge benefit for them to have. It's something I feel like won't be left off the table. There just needs to be more marketing and ads of women, encouraging other women to undergo the surgery.

  2. I felt the same way you did about not seeing a lot of before/after pictures of the crown so I've started a timeline of my own journey for others to follow (see below).

You've picked some good names but I would also to say make sure you're doing a consult with each doctor to understand their methods and what they would feel would be in your best interest to do as far as FUT/FUE, number of grafts etc

  3. This is extremely sad. Hopefully this brings to the light that there needs to be a higher levels of industry standards across the board. This site should be able to continue offering advice to those unfamiliar with the surgery, physicians and proper ways of operating.

The biggest takeaways from this are that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. No ethical physician would ever attempt 9,000 grafts because it's not realistic. It sounds like this patient was promised the "magic wand solution". Please educate yourself on the physician, their practice and methods of operation. In doing so, it can literally save your life.
