This is a great topic Melvin
For me it would be starting finasteride an minoxidil much sooner and not delaying. I was in denial for awhile and that only hurt me. I'd also love to say I wish I could have had a transplant sooner but waiting until things stabilized was definitely the right choice. I was fortunate to have found this forum when researching doctors but would have liked to have seen it years previously for guidance/support.

Still too early to tell. Keep being patient as it can take up to 18 months to fully mature.
-
I'm a 2x Konior patient with FUT both times.
The best advice I can give is to be patient, take your medication and follow the guidelines given to you. Sleeping is awkward as the staples/sutures will cause discomfort so I definitely recommend the neck pad given to you and if possible sleep upright. They're very accommodating and will give you time for breaks/lunch etc. Feel free to PM if you'd like. Is this for your hairline?

You'll be fine. Grafts are well lodged before 3 months.

How's your donor look? Can you post pictures of the top with your hair parted? FUE or FUT?

Continue to give it time. You're still very early in the process and the crown takes the longest to show results

I think your hairline turned out well. It looks age appropriate and I wouldn't bother with lowering it.

Where did you go to? The crown takes 12-18 months to fully mature so you're doing pretty well so far for 5 months in.

Are you on finasteride? Doing anything to try and save what you have?

I'm not aware of that one. I've used the foam for years and like how you can use to style your hair

Are you referring to the bottles with the eye dropper?

@Brad189I'm rooting for you to have a great result. You're still very early for results which can take up to 18 months to fully mature. It helps that you did still have some hair remaining in the transplanted area pre op.

Glad to hear you had someone to give you guidance and not become another hair mill statistic. Looking forward to seeing your results.

If you go on the main page, there's a list.

Finasteride is a DHT blocker and that applies for all hair. Do you have pictures of your crown you can show? It's normal to have some recession and not always have the straight hairline you had in high school. Have you consulted a physician listed on this site?

Let's be realistic. He's one of the best in the world.

Where do they see the future of the industry going? What role does technology play? New advancements with medication? New treatment options?

As someone who lives in LA, you’d be shocked. As far as I can tell this guy went to a salon and had it done, which is shocking in itself.
Definitely doesn't help that tv shows and online videos make it out to be a routine procedure with minimal downtime and quick results.

Melvin I swear if you're trying to short the mangrove supply lol
Still needs a lot of research and a larger test space but could have potential
