  1. Its interesting to see your mid scalp recover from shock loss. I was wondering whether the native hairs that grow after shock loss grow as thick matured hairs or grow thin then mature like transplanted hairs. What do you guys think?
  2. Not that I need to say anything to you as you are more experienced and mature than I am, but hang in there and dont lose hope. Transplant recovery is an emotional ride even though you know things are gonna be better in the future. It may take some more time to see new growth than your previous surgery as the grafts placed in mid scalp & crown may take longer to grow than the ones in the hairline. Finally, You have an excellent hairline. very jealous...
  3. Great result! Was this fue or fut? also could u share how many hairs/graft the patient had? And how many grafts he has left?
  4. You are lucky to have such a great donor. Good luck on your next transplant. keep us posted...
  5. yes, eugenix is where a fellow board member called harin had his transplant. He too had 3 or 4 transplant sessions for ~7k grafts from scalp and beard. Explorer, search the forum for patient posts from eugenix. This would give you an idea of what to expect.
  6. thanks for the great writeup KO will be following your thread and progress.
  7. I echo HTsoon's thoughts. Please don't do it. Especially if it's fut
  8. Looking great Squatch! Yours result is, without a doubt, the best result I have seen with 4000 grafts. Am pretty sure you have thick course donor hair to achieve such a result. Are you continuing fin too?
  9. It looks like SMP is the one that concealed the scar the most. Thanks for the photo mickey
  10. Mickey, may I ask why beard grafts instead of scalp grafts for the scar?
  11. Interesting! I dont see any previous strip scars at all...
  12. Do you happen to have any pics before SMP? If so, could you please share them?
  13. Wow... That's quite a transformation Mikey. I agree that FUE into scar is essential. However, I am just wondering how the scar might look with just FUE and no SMP...
  14. Just saw your thread Mikey1970. Looks great. I wish I too can achieve your results. May I ask why beard hair instead of scalp hair? Also how close were you able to buzz down before SMP?
  15. Looking great Mikey1970. I too am in a similar position, with a strip scar wishing to buzz down. Can you please share some scar pics before the FUE? Any idea what your scar dimensions were? Thanks in advance...
  16. Hi Bill, I have posted my scar pictures above. I am also attaching them again here.
  17. Hi HTsoon, I would like to go down to zero because it's highly likely I would lose this battle of hair. i wish to buzz down to #0 and move on. Wish I had done FUE instead of FUT as this would have made buzzing down easier.
  18. Here are my scar pics DrBlakeBloxham. The side scar feels flat while the back scar feels like a small ridge. Its been 9 months post op but i still see redness. Is that expected? Can these scars be FUE'd so that i can trim down to grade #0? What are your thoughts?
  19. Thanks for the info hsrp10. May i ask what the width and length of the scar were?
  20. I had a strip transplant recently and ended up with a scar with 4-5 mm width. I was wondering whether FUEing into the scar would work and make the scar disappear. Is it possible to acheive naive density in the scar? Can one trim down to grade 0? Any experiences or advice???
  21. looking good so far. The next couple of months should be exciting...
  22. Looks like you had some shockloss in the mid scalp. Should be back near the end of the year I beleive. Donor looks great. Any idea how close you could buzz the donor after 5300 grafts?
