  1. Woahhh, that misguided kid! Never go full...LEGO? Simple misunderstanding/language barrier, etc etc?? Thought he was ordering the 'Turkish Delight' as a lunch option? It happens ☹️
  2. I'll throw out one who prob wouldn't even make top 100 for most here, but he's fresh on my mind lately from a 90's music binge. He didn't often wear it back like in this pic and some would say even bordering into 5head territory, but dude was an overall aesthetic force imo. Chris Cornell (RIP).
  3. 'Skins/WFT/Commanders tortured soul here. Yea Captain Kirk's lid was certainly on the move in those days, perhaps he got all sorts of sage advice from GOAT?
  4. Reading through your thread after your 5.5 month pics of a gorgeous hairline and the above words from you made me nod my head. The lengths we go to dealing with this crap, eh? And honestly that isn't even a very extreme example; that's more like a basic mentality we adopt. It's crazy what can become our new normal. Well, the albatross has been lifted. You're free now, dude.
  5. When I click to open one of this doctor's cases, I expect to usually be impressed. No exception this time, just natural-looking artistry.
  6. Another vote for 'wish I had started sooner'. I've been on finasteride and minoxidil for 10 years now and my hair has more or less been frozen in time since I started. I've been adding in dutasteride once a week for a year or so with no side effects. The only side I ever got from finasteride was a noticeably quicker temperament for a while, as I guess my body was getting adjusted to a bit of a testosterone boost. I wish I had never started the expense/hassle of minoxidil at all, but started finasteride a decade sooner.
  7. Totally valid question, imo. For the longest time my "dream plan" was to get the standard 5k grafts that ASMED seemed to dole out to near everyone, then employing an expensive perfectionist like Dr. Konior to make my new cookie-cutter hairline look more soft and natural with his artistic touch. Like many others, I'm currently gaga over Eugenix as they seem to excel in ALL areas while still being somewhat affordable to me.
  8. Ahh, then perhaps it was a bit awkward responding to this. You could have easily glossed over and let the thread fade away, appreciate the candor.
  9. Educate yourself on finasteride. It could be all you'd need for a long time. Reassess after at least a year on fin, you might be able to skip the expense/hassle of minoxidil altogether. IMO, of course.
  10. It seems all too often these kind of reviews just get lost in the shuffle without a definitive conclusion. This doctor is one I've considered before, admittedly mainly due to being the closest recommended surgeon to me. Care to share any further developments, elicochin?
  11. Expound on this discussion, please? (particularly the exercise part) Amazing write-up so far!
  12. Suck it up, buttercup!! Haha, I felt similar when communicating with him a few years back. His responses came quickly, but seemed a bit curt. He's just a no-frills guy...nothing more to it, imo. I'll be following, godspeed.
  13. If this is a genuine statement then I think you already possess the miracle that you're looking for.
  14. Sorry, can't be of any help with what you're looking for. Just wanted to commend your attitude and outlook in this unfortunate situation.
  15. Used to enjoy his shows with my ex and also my mom. Bought my first piece of nice cutlery (Global chef's knife) due to his recommendation years back. Was an excellent investment, as it's still going strong today. And yea since it's a hair forum, the guy always had a dense mop. I think it looked even more impressive because of the grey/white.
  16. To celebrate the occasion, perhaps he could adopt King Buzzo of the Melvins as his avatar... Really though, the forum couldn't have selected a finer fellow for the job.
  17. Crazy density @ 7 months, appears to match donor hair. Take note for the future, Prince Harry?
  18. Your whole case looks good to me, hairline included. Excellent growth. That 9.5 month overhead pic especially caught my eye.
  19. I totally get the desire for complete discretion, but how does he explain having a boatload more hair now?
  20. There are minoxidil tablets called Loniten. I have no personal experience with them. I shied away from looking much into Loniten when I read something about possibly needing to take a diuretic with it to prevent fluid retention. That might have been for someone on a much higher dose than generally used for hair loss though, I don't recall exactly.
  21. I'd LOVE to ditch the minoxidil, but since I started the big 3 at the same time (albeit about a decade too late) I don't know how much of a factor minox has played. Never much of any regrowth on big 3, but maintained for about 5.5 years now. Just can't deal with the liquid anymore, it's a greasy ass ache to apply and seems to really irritate my scalp more than it used to. Even with the foam though, I still feel like I need to wash my head about every day. Would be nice to wash hair in the morning, slather on some dermmatch and toppik, then skip a day washing to be able to enjoy my fraudulent full head of hair for a couple days with no extra hassles.
