I had 2400 grafts with Dr Hakan and post op the results are amazing as you can not tell no redness no pain only mild discomfort day 5-9 in donor area. He is a great surgeon and will only perform what is required to me this is an ethical approach that people should grasp.

Hi Guys I thought it was fast surgery, but that to me would better for the graft survival as in extract n replace using prp in my case with minimal graft exposure. They informed me they have a new chair to extract n insert grafts at the same time. I would wait for results as Dr Hakan has excellent results with small fue to my mind means low graft failure. Naturally i can only talk about my experience which maybe different to which you had.

I was asked to use regain up until 2 weeks before surgery. I used foam n found it better even saw small growth with it. They will provide everything you need post surgery, however i could not bring some of it back as i only took hand luggage n cant exceed 100ml. They advised baby shampoo after 10 days for me that ive yet to purchase. You will need to consider how you are going to pay for the surgery as well. PM if you would like further details.

Ive just got back from AHD and i actually stayed at hospital 3 nights. Hear are some tips. Take books movies as its boring with a lot of time resting. I took Antler travel pillow a real must. Make sure your shirts come off and go over your head easy as i lost a graft catching on tight neck space putting on shirt. Stretch type are best. I wore a hoodie and adjustable peak cap, pulled hoodie onto cap to cover rear of head n ear phones in to not get into chatting ie leave me be. Fantastic Dr and surgeons and you will be happy once youre home.

Forgot to mention Didem for everything to she is also accredit to the team and meet all my needs.

I slept not badly got a few hours broken sleep using flight pillow which helps. I had pain shot yesterday and no other pain killers n only feel a tight scalp I had 500 fue in uk 2006 which hurt post op and im in better shape now thanks to the great surgeons n Dr Hakan. Feel like a kid ar xmas Dr Hakan listened to what I wanted then I drew hairline to which he drew in right side below temple which I declined. On the day of surgery I ask to have the work he advised to frame face and im glad as I looks great. Im glad I stumbled across this wedsite for neutral fact based information to assist me in a chosen Ht.

I had Ht yesterday at 2 euro a graft with Dr Hakan and there is no way would I bother with uk having had one in uk 2006. Its a good price and amazing hospital n service n im pain free post op so far.

Hi Johnny I would agree with above post as i recall my small fue left the donor area looking poor. i actually used toppik to fill it in. Its now ok but i was like you worried about a thin patch. It all takes time unfortunately and hair is a real bitch. It looks very good for only two weeks

Great write up and i think its an excellent job. I would blend your donor hair in by shaving 1# to 2# higher into non donor area and wait for it to grow as it looks like shock loss to some degree.

Hi Johnny it looks clean work and looking at it as best i can tell from pic is it should blend into your current hair very well.

I would not consider a HT at 23 as hair loss can kick in big time in late 20`s therefore you would look odd with a great hair line and diffused loss behind it. You should not consider this and deplete your donor area until older, i know its not what you want to hear, but you are young and have other options to explore.

Fue and it would be regardless to what surgery as Fin/Dut inhibits DHT the major part of hairloss. Not sure why surgeons advise to take it and minox prior to surgery for people that dont take or use these drugs.

Hi Transhair I take Dut and will carry on taking it as normal. The Dr im using advised me to take Fin through out and Minox up to two weeks prior to Ht. On another note i ran low of dut ie spaced out my pills then went two weeks without, upon restarting i seemed to have had a little better response and put this down to becoming tolerant to the drug, therefore a rest has helped.

I like the hair line better than your predicted choice. Who was the Dr ?

You need to possibly address this now as options are available to slow cease or regrow hair if lucky. Propecia is FDA approved for hair loss as well as Minox. HT is last option

Looks good at 9 weeks. Nice to see more great work from Dr Hakan as im due for my surgery. I used Toppik in my donor area and yes it was great.

This does indeed concern me but we need to have more knowledge as he can not be written off with out a lot of information as yet unknown. Im now sitting on the fence but he does have a good history. This is all i need like you at a commitment point

I know your worries as that is mine as its becoming holiday season. i have only bumped into two people over twenty years coming back into uk.

Not that i need it but wonder what is the better if you have chest n leg hair over beard hair. IE beard hair is like course n curly unlike scalp hair, yet chest n leg hair is fine and straight.

I would use dermatch over smp. Did you have PRP treatment ? i have 1# cut n pull it of with dermatch

Where did you guys in uk get aloe vera from? ie brand etc. Thanks
